Keith had looked up from where he was looking through the plans Shiro had gotten for their next mission. After all, Keith was the pilot of the Black Lion now, so even though Shiro was back, he was basically the official leader of Voltron. He took this role very seriously, wanting to prove that he had the qualities to do this, and that his Paladins could trust him with their lives. So, pen between his teeth, violet eyes had been skimming over what their next mission would look like. Where they would enter the ship, where the target was located, what diversions needed to be used. Normally, Keith was a ‘wing it’ man. However, that had led to far too many risks in the past. And this mission was particularly risky.
They needed to be focused. They needed to be collected. They needed to be sm - He paused, violet eyes glancing up at Allura as he raised an eyebrow. “Am I?” Keith was a pretty short person, and a lot of stuff often went over his head. He didn’t understand what people were talking about, or much about emotions, and sometimes he needed further explanation. Despite seeming like a rather blank slate, Keith was fueled by emotion himself. He supposed he was a bit more relaxed, calm, not on-edge. But...that seemed odd. After all, Allura had the most skill out of all of them. Had been doing this the longest. “...is that an, uh....bad thing?”
