Send ␛ for an ANGER headcanon.

     jordan is a very angry person, to say the least. but he hides it inside of himself. it's almost as if it was just a pit of anger. dark seething anger that just circled inside of him. that is, in fact, the reason why he almost never smiles. BUT!! it never started out as anger. it started out as love, then heartbreak, then depression, then to nothing, and then to solid anger. it blocked out almost every emotion that was.. well.. good. and it made him even angrier because he couldn't help it. it was.. because of her. he never talked about it. to anyone and that's how it would stay, but even jordan knows that one day he'll break. one day he knows that he'll just break. but that's okay because he'll be alone. now, don't get me wrong. he can manage his anger well enough so that he doesn't lash out as much as james. the biggest problem with this type of anger, though, is that he drinks his pain away. he is constantly drinking. the burning sensation eases the pain in his mind and he was okay with that. even if that means he constantly snapped and lashed out at the people that mean the most to him. he didn't care. they don't know what he went through. they never will.

     IMMORTAL took kootra by slight surprise, not expecting the smaller one to ACT OUT towards him like that. jordan stumbled back a little from being off BALANCED but recovered almost even FASTER. the older man GRITTED his teeth and wrapped his fingers around aleks’ wrist. the boy was TWISTED around and had his arm PINNED high upon his back. kootra pushed and pinned him to the closest wall. his lips found immortal’s ear. he GROWLED.

❝ I do not know who you THINK you are or who you think i am, but that is NOT going to fly here.❞

          on instinct he was reaching out and clasping the other, holding him steady upon calloused hands. a fire burned within him, the anger growing more apparent by the second. who had done this? why the fuck had someone done this? the weight of his head against his shoulder applied pressure, though this just resulted in a tightened grip. he felt the fury, whether it was a sign of pure concern ( the sight of the younger crippled and helpless beneath him, the one he felt he had to protect ) or nothing more than contemptuous rage ( why couldn’t this fuck follow simple orders? ) was unknown to him.

          in two quick motions, nova was turning his head to see if anyone was sneaking up on them before looking back to immortal, a squeeze applied to the other simultaneously. ❛ hey, listen to me --- we’re gonna get the fuck outta here, okay? you gotta move. ❜

"You don't fucking care."

     JORDAN stared at aleks for a few seconds before looking over his head, just out in the open. that one sentence SPARKED so many thoughts into jordan’s brain yet he couldn’t keep a ONE on track. internally, it HURT him, a lot, but he has a feeling that if he SHOWED his emotions through his actions alone, his son wouldn’t buy it.

      ❝ ALEKS, I- ❞  jordan stuttered.

     SO many emotions ran jordan at once all in those few seconds: ANGER, disappointment, SADNESS, frustration. he didn’t know how to possibly respond to that. what would he have to do to show that he CARED? 

     YEAH, there has always been hardships between him and the younger boy. they CLASH quite a bit and, well.. aleks is a teenager. he’s gong to be rebellious. jordan knows that.

      ❝ UHH.. ❞ 

     HE couldn’t get the words out until finally he clicked. He furrowed his eyebrows and SCOFFED almost. ❝ i don’t care? when you’re upset or crying, who is the one that comforts you? when you have a NIGHTMARE, who’s the one that sleeps in your bed with you at night? ❞

     JORDAN could feel his throat CLOSING from tears that he attempting to keep down. ❝ when you’re sick, who stays home with you? who, aleks? and you’re saying that i don’t care? ❞ his tone was full of HURT, not anger. his VOICE was soft. 

    SAPPHIRE eyes were shielded by his unwilling tears that he just couldn’t HOLD anymore. he bent down and placed his right hand on his son’s shoulder. His large hand was ultimately SOFT as was the gesture. 

     ❝ ALEKS. what in the world could have possibly made you THINK that i don’t CARE? ❞

❛ You don’t control me. ❜

     ANNOYANCE begin it’s works inside of jordan. this has happened before but apparently he didn’t HANDLE it well enough last time. jordan stepped forward so that he stood right in front of aleks, TOWERING over his body, which was tiny compared to jordan’s height and BROAD shoulders. leaning down slightly, he turned his chin so that his left ear was closer to the SMALLER BOY.

      ❝ DO you wanna run that by me one more time? ❞ he GROWLED, his voice DEEP with hints of his irritation just by that one STATEMENT showing.

                    ❝ --------- really? you’re gonna give me that shit? ❞

          there’s a hint of humor to his tone, a breath of laughter following suit as he shook his head at immortal. he’s just a kid, they talk shit; that’s what they do. there was only so many times this little fucker could manage to get on his nerves --- actually, this was also one of those times. the supposed hilarity was gone just as quickly as it had came, eyes squinting and brow furrowing as he took a step forward, hands slowly coming up to his hips and resting there as he glowered down at the wind-up merchant. not today, asshole.

                      ❝ seriously though, cut the crap. what the fuck were you                      doing back there? we needed you here, you know that. ❞

“Are you awake?”

    JORDAN was almost asleep but not QUITE when he heard the tiny question. he knew that voice. playing REPEATEDLY in his mind, he didn’t move from the position on his STOMACH for a few moments. but when he did, he rolled over onto his BACK, wiping his lazy eyes. 

      ❝ HUH? oh, umm.. yeah. ❞

     HE sat up slightly in his bed, NARROWING his tired eyes to see a blurry version of aleks. 

      ❝ WHY? what’s up? ❞
