Okay, my first resin attempt (well, first in a long time) on Monday night wasn't so great. I put WAY too much mica in the resin and it sank to the front of the molds, essentially making solid, opaque pieces. Pretty, but not what I wanted. I used just a pinch last night and it worked like a charm! It stayed gently swirled in the translucent part. At a glance, these almost look like labradorite, which I friggin love. The skulls are going to look amazing when I can get them buffed! #resin #resincasting #alumiliteresin #jewelrymaking #fauxlabradorite
