tired / but the weariness is worth it. the new sort of ache in your bones you are not familiar with. becoming so. for the day moves on without you / midday and yet you have not moved. are you in pain ? incapacitated surely. for there is a bundle sleeping soundly on your chest , a tiny hand curled around a single finger. ❛ i cannot move. ❜ weighed down / impossible to shift now that your child is finally asleep. no matter how much of a wonder woman you are , a baby is a baby : and they do not care for the time of night it is when they cry out.
a small pout / though you are hardly complaining about the situation.
