[Tilts her head and stares at the envelope] …

[Blushes slightly and smiles when she reads the card inside]  Th… Thank you, Kyle.  Y-You are a g-great friend too…

Dorothy! Good to see you! They're flowers! For you. ... W-Well, for you and your family, I mean. I grew them in the forest, but I was worried the monsters would get to them so I brought them back to town. They won't survive on the farm this time of year so.. I thought maybe the church would like them..?

[Face turns a light pink upon discovering that the flowers are for her and her family] A-Ah, um… tha… thank you, Kyle…!  I th… think Father would love to have them displayed… a-around the church.  

… [Opens her arms so that Kyle can give some of the plants to her]

[Shows up at the church with his arms full of potted plants, all draped or wrapped lightly in old blankets- close to losing his balance from the uneven weight distribution of the plants] Helloooo? Gordon? Dorothy? Hrk--! ... Cammy?

[Comes out of her bedroom when she hears the church door open, tilting her head slightly when she sees the visitor] U-Um…?  Kyle?  I… I’m the o-only one here right now… w-what are those?

Jack/Kyle

"Well, one is purely crops and mine was supposed to be a dairy farm," he explained. "I’m just better with crops than animals." He raised a eyebrow at the next bit of information. "Well, that narrows it down. Both my sister and I are Js." He held out a hand, "The name’s Jack, by the way."

"And considering you mentioned it was winter… well, I guess you’re here about crops," he said. "I got a few growing, actually. Fruits and some vegetables."

[Takes his hand enthusiastically with a smile] Yes, Jack, that was it! [Stops dead, washed over with embarrassment- takes his hand back, apologising] Oh wow, I feel really stupid now! This is embarrassing, I’m sorry I didn’t realise it was you sooner. [Brings a fist to his mouth and clears his throat, frowning at himself] …! Oh, right! I’m Kyle, from Alvarna. Over in Norad. I’m the farmer over there, haha… The, uh, only one.

Actually, no, I;m not looking to buy any I’m actually, uhm, [slides a hand behind his neck, progressively getting more embarrassed] kind of, sort of, maybe hoping to get some… tips?

"It's quite alrght," Jack laughed. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I've been seeing a lot of people from Norad, lately." He cocked his head, a bit confused. Tips? From what Jack saw, the land over in Adonea was much more flexible, allowing crops to be grown in any season. "Well, I'd be glad to help," he said. "Just how did you hear of me, if you don't mind me asking?" He knew his clothes often caused people to stare at him, while he was in Selphia. But he never told anyone he was a farmer, save for his friends there. "You came a pretty long way just for tips."

[Looks at the building- drops his shoulders in disbelief (mostly at himself)] Oh. ... Well, it's a little embarrassing, but I've heard really good things about the farmer here and I wanted to talk to him. Now that I think about it, maybe winter wasn't the best time to talk to a farmer about farming. ;;

"Which farmer?" he asked with a laugh. "There’s technically five of us here, six if you count my mentor, who moved to another town recently."

[Nervous laugh] A little bit, but I've been in worse. Probably. Though I guess an inn would be nice... But that's not what I need help with.

"Well, the inn’s not hard to miss," Jack said, pointing to the large wooden building over yonder. "What’s the other thing?"

[Roaming the town, clearly looking for something.] [Trots over to Jack and taps his shoulder] Hi, excuse me, sorry. Could you help me?

Jack turned to look at the man and tilted his head. “Sure.” He took a good look at him. “Aren’t you cold?”
