it felt like it had been weeks since ophelia had seen the familiar face that she claimed to hate so much. in reality, it had only been four or five days since she had seen the male. but the last time their paths had crossed, he had nearly given her a heart attack -- not only did he look like utter shit, he had refused to give her much information about what had happened, or who had done it to him. she knew that alec was withholding information from her, though she couldn’t figure out why. while they had never been the closest friends, or hardly friends at all, she had always had his back when it came down to it -- in her mind, she was the only one who could talk shit about alec, or lay a hand on him. while she was aware that showing up out of the blue would earn her a few extra insults, she needed to make sure that he was okay, and attempt to get to the bottom of what was going on. but as she pulled up to alec’s place, she caught a glimpse of two men getting into a car and pulling out of his driveway. her heart felt like it had dropped into the pit of her stomach, and she was quick to park her car and get to his front door, knocking on it once, then twice, then a third time for good measure. she hadn’t expected alec to open the door, looking perfectly fine, but she was thankful that her worst fears weren’t brought to life all the time. and as soon as the male did open the door, she pushed past him, barging her way into his house. “so... what? you can’t answer your fucking texts now?” she questioned, glaring towards him. “what’s going on with you, alec? what are you hiding? and who were those guys that just left?” @alvcrd
