It isn’t the time to get nasty, she knows. Not with everyone in black and the crying and the DEAD AIR hanging around them. Jason’s asking for it, though. Jason’s been ASKING FOR IT every day of his life, and she thinks one day she might just pay up what he’s been so long overdue: a good one right in the kisser. All he ever uses it for is HATE and MALICE, anyhow.
