Here are the test results: You are a wonderful person. I'm serious, that's what it says: "A wonderful person." We weren't even testing for that.

Frozen/Stormlight Archive AU, Kholin brothers, because I hate you all and want you to feel sad.
running with the Renarin-has-secret-Radiant-powers concept, he's in Elsa's role and Adolin is Anna.
The party is not a coronation, but maybe a coming-of-age party for Renarin; that way he's still the focus and Dalinar doesn't have to be dead. (maybe shhshhshh was the only one who knew about his powers + told him to hide them? I'm not crazy about shoehorning her into that role b/c we don't know much about her, but it could worse.)
Something happens - maybe since Renarin just came of age there are a bunch of eligible princesses there to meet with him and Adolin teases him about it when he's already starting to panic - and he loses it, shows his powers, and then runs.
Adolin goes after him with the help of either Danlan or Shallan (or maybe Shallan is one of the people who shows up to the party as a possible marriage match? featherbaiting) and tries to get through to Renarin, but Renarin just wants to cut himself off from his family so they won't be harmed by association so he drives Adolin off, harming him in some way in the process.
At this point we diverge from the movie plot, because shit's lame, yo. Adolin doesn't actually think Renarin hurt him intentionally, but he does leave because he realizes that he needs a different approach to bring his brother home. Sadeas has been leading an armed force of guards to where Renarin is, probably following Adolin; while Adolin and Danlan regroup and try to figure out what their next move is, Sadeas attacks Renarin. Adolin and Danlan see/hear what's going on, throw themselves into the fight; Adolin uses his own Radiant powers for the first time, but they're defeated and Sadeas takes Renarin (who's probably in a full-blown panic attack at this point) into captivity.
Adolin and Danlan have to hurry back to the castle to rescue Renarin. They get there at about the same time as a group of Sadeas's men stage Renarin's escape, and their own (this is Kaladin and Bridge Four, of course). The final battle involves the three untrained Radiants vs. Sadeas, and even though they mostly don't know what they're doing they can still kick his ass working together.
The resolution is Adolin promising Renarin that they'll figure out how to use their strange powers together, and reassuring Renarin that he is safe and wanted, and that if any adversity comes as a result of their powers they'll face it side by side.
edit: Endgame ships here are Adolin/Danlan, and Kalarin; Navani/Dalinar is already established. Possible side hints towards either Shasnah or Adolin/Danlan/Shallan. Also it occurs to me that I could totally write this with bigender Danlan showing up at the ball and out in the woods, which I would definitely do.
fEATHER YOU PUT 'YES' ON THAT FANMIX AND THOSE LYRICS I LOST MY SHIT
I've finally done it, changed my 17s name to the chronic feruchemist. If Josh finds this blog I'm blaming you =P
Haha! I will take full responsibility! Yay!
Are they talking about the AU in which Kaladin goes to become a surgeon? That one hurt (in a good way).
Yep! That’s the one. “Beneath the Bells of Kharbranth.” I linked Megan to read it last night and she liveblogged the whole thing for me. It was awesome!
And thanks! It was meant to be a… pretty painful AU. Oops. Gotta earn my keep as fandom monster somehow, right?
