Looking down on Lake Aloha, 1000 feet below. Left camp with @mbuenon an hour earlier with the intention of going for a short walk before dinner. We ended up chasing the last rays of sunlight up a ridge, and kept having those "let's go a little bit higher" moments. Eventually, the peak was within striking distance, and we knew what we had to do. We scrambled our way to the top, and were were rewarded with an incredible view of the #desolationwilderness. After the sun dipped, we quickly and carefully (hi mom) climbed down...another valuable lesson to #alwaysbringyourheadlamp
