Kuro opened her eyes, the rays of light that floated through her window finally coaxing them to wake. The twentysomething stretched, sitting up, and changed into a pair of shorts and a pullover hoodie. She grabbed her keys and a couple of dollars to grab a coffee, and went out the door.
She walked down the block to the nearest café, but was cut off at the stop light. She sighed as she waited for cars to pass, she'd woken up during rush hour. On her days off, this was a large scale annoyance. Another person had stopped at the same corner as she had, she felt awkward not saying anything. She looked to the stranger.
"What brings you out?" she asked, suddenly feeling regretful. She was wearing a hoodie and shorts, for god's sake. Well, no turning back now.
