HP Next Generation Appreciation Week - Day 5: Beach AU

Hello! This is my entry for the final day of @endlessly-cursed's HP next gen appreciation week! On this one, we're invited to share an idea of how a visit to the beach would go for our OCs!

Now Brian would love to spend a day on the beach! His favorite activity could be to play volleyball, tennis or badminton with friends. The kiddo likes the soft, loose texture of the sand. Nothing is better than cooling off in the wave on the hottest days, and he finds listening to the cries of the seagulls while lying on a mat on lounger relaxing. Maybe he'll also watch the horizon and see if he can catch a ship, sailboat, or even a plane or helicopter. Brian never saw himself as being a surfer, but he admires the sport.

The best time for him to go would be the later afternoon when the skies have the best potential to be beautiful and the temperature a little cooler. Brian's both adventurous and relaxed. He's ready to catch and enjoy the rushing feeling of the ocean breeze. It could be happening while he's reading a book or studying a map. And of course, he wouldn't hesitate to invite his dear Alyssa @mjs-oc-corner

these two have quickly become one of my favorite ships! i made this lil moodboard a couple weeks back and i’m just now getting around to posting it (we won’t talk about it lol) but really, what better time than the holiday season to get all warm and fuzzy over your favorite ships?🥰💙💙 @catohphm, i really couldn’t think of a better match for alyssa, and i’m still so honored that you chose to ship brian with her!

HP Next Generation Appreciation Week 2024 - Day 4: Favorite Ships of Other People's OCs

Hey everyone! Hope the weekend went well! I was originally not going to cover the last two days, but I've recovered enough from a crappy start to the day to humor the rest of the entries for @endlessly-cursed's HP Next Gen Appreciation Week! Day 4's entry was dedicated to ships of other people's OCs that you like.

I was able to think of the ship Seyford by @endlessly-cursed and @mjs-oc-corner. Harry x Savanah stand out to me because they're a absolutely sweet and precious pairing with sentiments that remind me much of Alybri, my own ship with Mo involving Brian and Alyssa, another of her OCs. They seem to enjoy much of the similar energies while both being amazing OC x OC ships in their own right.

HP Next Generation Appreciation Week - Day 3: Favorite Ship

Hi everyone! For the third day of @endlessly-cursed's HP Next Gen appreciation week event, the prompt is to explain an OC ship you're a part of that you consider your favorite. For me, it was difficult and took a long time for me to settle on an OC ship for Brian, but the search finally concluded when my dear friend @clovermunson/@mjs-oc-corner came along with the amazing Alyssa Lockwood. Their ship isn't strictly the only one I have for Brian, but it's the main one I have for him.

Brian x Alyssa or Alybri, is a very wholesome Ravenclaw x Ravenclaw ship. I've collaborated with Mo to establish some sweet little interactions for them. Whenever Alyssa looses track of time, Brian may come along and remind her to break from her book assignments for a little while to get some fresh air and have fun. They enjoy getting each other gifts once in a while. I can’t go without mentioning their adorable pets, her cat Star and his owl Archimedes. 🐈🦉 There's lots of little things that make their story magical and my favorite part about Alybri is how they seem to compliment each other in many ways 🥺💙💙

“Lyss, c’mon. We’ll be late for class if you keep reading about the constellations and planets.” Brian leaned against the sturdy bookshelf. He knew that his girlfriend would stay in the library all day and miss class if he’d let her.

“Just one more page, please?” Alyssa looked up from the page with a smile, one that she knew would get Brian to cave and let her read a little more.

“Alright.” Brian slid the bookmark from his back pocket across the table to her, a smirk on his face, as he knew he’d lost, “one more page and then we’re off to class. There’s no way I’m leaving you behind.”

“Deal. I get one more page and then you won’t have to worry about finding something else other than me or the subject to focus on during history of magic.” Alyssa gave a coy smirk, her eyes diverting back to the page she was reading.

💋 How affectionate are they with their friends? Their family? Their romantic partner(s) (if they have any)? Are they more physical or emotional when it comes to displaying their affection? Why?

Alyssa doesn’t go beyond a hug or some words of affirmation when it comes to showing affections with a friend or family member.

when it comes to showing affection towards Brian (@catohphm), she’s more apt to show romantic gestures, such as a hug and/or a kiss, as well as hand-holding and her personal favorite, wrapping her arm around his and resting her head on his arm/shoulder. she also expresses her affection for Brian through words of affirmation, gift-giving, and acts of service.

Alyssa tries to find a balance between physical and emotional, but sometimes she’s much better at physically showing her feelings as opposed to showing them through her words.

a new hpma ship has set sail!!

for those who may have missed it on her profile, my girl Alyssa has found the perfect partner (and dare I say it, possibly her other half/soulmate) in the absolutely wonderful Brian Haywood-Reese, who belongs to the equally wonderful @catohphm!

i’m so excited to see how the relationship between these two develops and both Alyssa and I are very grateful that you wanted to ship Brian with her!💙💙
