hi! saying people are forcing their ‘fixed’ redesigns on people is really not true and honestly over exaggerating. you aren’t forced to view or reblog that post. A lot of people are uncomfortable with obviously fanservicey designs (especially when it’s. a character. with the body of a child. hi nowi)and there isn’t really a problem with them trying to ‘fix’ the design, either for fun or even just to try their hand at designing characters. There’s no point in complaining about it.
(previous anon here again sorry i ran out of room ah) and also some people just want to try making them look more practical??? because honestly there are a lot of dumb designs and i really see no issue with that

Well this was certainly more polite than I was expecting, so thank you for that.
People are forcing their ‘fixed’ designs on others though and attacking people for liking the original designs. I’ve seen it happen to people in the tag as well as people I’m following.
I totally understand that fanservicey designs aren’t for everyone and I wasn’t trying to attack people who stay in their own lane and enjoy the ‘fixed’ designs without yelling at others. I also have no issue with people redesigning armor for fun. I’m an artist myself, so I can definitely respect that. Like I said, it’s the people who attack others for liking fanservice that I can’t tolerate. It’s a huge issue in this fandom.
I do also agree that there are some impractical designs in FE, but at the end of the day it’s just a video game and it isn’t hurting anyone. If you get offended over pixel boobs then you have some issues you need to work out with yourself.

Oh my god shut up. It’s a game. I honestly could not care less about Nowi’s design in that regard. It doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I think her normal outfit and her Halloween outfit are pretty cute anyways.

It's not biphobia in the firstplace. The original intent in japan was for her to be a lesbian but they screwed her over with only niles and rhajat being the same sex options. So then to make it less BadTM treehouse translated it to make her seem bi to make her only having male S supports make sense. (the only romantic one being forrest) Now that she's in heroes and treehouse isn't the translation team she's back to being an implied lesbian (sorry if this sent more than once tumblr is awful)
Actually the original Japanese intent was for her to be a play off what’s called ‘Class S’. I’m not going to explain the entire thing, so here’s the wiki link.

With that out of the way, Soleil in Japanese was still very very bi. She had romantic S supports with male units but still had flirting lines with the girls. It was a lot more equal than we got in the localization.
Treehouse didn’t localize it that way to make it less ‘BadTM’, because it was never bad in Japanese. My issue with what Treehouse did was they made her less bi and more into a lesbian that couldn’t marry girls which made absolutely zero fucking sense. They changed her male S supports to be mostly platonic which is total bullshit but whatever. She’s still intended to be bi no matter what bullshit Treehouse pulled.
So yeah, she was never meant to be a full lesbian and this is painfully obvious by her Japanese character.
Also, I don’t get where you think she’s an implied lesbian in heroes? All of her lines are gender neutral with flirting. I mean yeah it has the ‘looks up to cool women’ line, but that isn’t a reference to her being attracted to girls.
