I found an even more unpopular piece of the witcher fandom than Thronebreaker🤠👍
I entered the game to learn more about the Witcher lore and look at the handsome mage, but in the end I found myself feeling sad (my boy deserves a better life😭😭😭)

Happy Valentine's Day to all who celebrate
i traced the original to make a brand new bastardization of a classical art piece. the creation of viy, maribor, late 900s, colorized
Elder Blood is decidedly NOT an ingredient or related to the Witcher Mutations or Trials in any way, shape or form. Can Witchers control time and space and give prophecies? No? That’s what I thought. Elder Blood is not biological, magical and alchemical mutation. This is an awful alteration by the show, asinine lazy writing to force a connection between two separate things, for the lame upcoming Blood Origin show, nothing more. Because every plot has to be connected in shows, apparently. The Witcher mutations were created by humans and for humans, by the renegade sorcerer Alzur and other mad scientist sorcerers like him only between three and four hundred years before the series started, to clear the North of monsters to make settling it easier and safer founding the original Order of Witchers in the process. The Witchers origin is not connected to the over a thousand years prior Conjunction of the Spheres or the elves and Ciri is not a messiah of the Witchers needed to make more of them, the key to everything. The actual knowledge of Witcher mutations was pretty much lost with repeated pogroms against the various Witcher Schools, died with the sorcerers who created it and their students. Vesemir shouldn’t even know how the mutations are done and what exactly is in it, he was the fencing instructor, not one of the sorcerers who performed the Trials, who kept their knowledge to themselves.
If they wanted to add a show plot of restoring the Witchers so badly, making more, here’s an idea: Idarran of Ulivo, the protege of Alzur, whose fate is left unaccounted for in canon. Depict him as the creepy, monster making, villainous, murderous mad scientist he is, and have him with all his knowledge be the only hope left of restoring the Witchers, this monstrous sorcerer who the remaining Witchers are all disgusted by and despise. There’s some instant tension and drama for a plot right there, seeing the cost of the Witcher knowledge, what it took to make them and the kind of men who did, instead of shoehorning the Elder Blood and Witcher plots together and violate the canon they pay only lip service to. You show the good (the Wolf Witchers) that came from the evil origin of the Witchers (shown through Idarran) and put them side by side for the audience to see and judge the grey morality of it all for themselves, and decide if Witchers are worth it. See how simple it is to come up with plots that make sense and have depth when you actually try? Like how they could have easily depicted Cat School making monsters in Nightmare Of The Wolf for easy contracts like a bunch of evil con men, true to their generally low character, and then have all Witcher Schools get blamed for it. Instead the writers erased all the other Witcher Schools and pinned it all on Kaer Morhen, depriving themselves of story potential, as usual.
At this point its all up to CDPR to keep the future of The Witcher going properly, through games.
Alzur @JdA: You keep bugs because you give them to your amphibians to eat. I keep bugs because I love fucking them. We're not the same.
Rogue Mage, final experiment…
Alzur from Gwent, drawn around January, but I only post it now because of reasons. Njoy anyway!
