I was thinking about the horse parallel in both music videos we have so far. It may be there as a symbol for mystery, intrigue (can't be tamed?) but it also stands for sexuality and personal freedom as in self-confidence which connects with both the idea of being lost (in oneself) i.e. the alter egos and those alter egos (perhaps both consciously and subconsciously) interacting with each other. Considering how Alex (or an alter ego whose role I’m not 100% sure of yet if you like) is filming the horses in both videos, he might be trying to capture the mystery as I trying to solve it and ergo getting a hold of his alter egos. The relationship between the alter egos is evolving - in the FOOF video the horse is wild although it should be tame and in the TBHC video the horses are tame although they should be wild or at least shying away from Alex
ok but earlier in my "a new music video just came out" induced haze I thought of how the literal elephant in the room might refer to milex since it's sorta obvious and it comes up right when Alex sings "mama wants some answers"
