What did Matt do?

Matt cheated on his wife, Breana who is also the mum of Amelia. Even though Amanda denied it "Matt didn't cheat on anyone specially not with me" Breana said that Matt cheated and left her, right after both her parents passed away. Amelia even thought he was dead. (Also said by Breana) he only started playing happy family again when Amanda came into the picture and started getting involved with Amelia again when she was about 5 or 6.
