Artificial Gem Hybrid - Type Diamond B93123, cut A39 Codename: Crimson Shatterer; Red Diamond Asher

I have no clue if anyone already explored this but: You know how diamonds can be created artificially? What if humans learned to artificially create gems? What if humans toyed around too much with the idea of creating gem and human hybrids? Humans who defected from the human-zoo, escaped with a gem ship and over many years created their own society on a different planet. And they hold a very old grudge towards the gem-empire.

This is Asher, a human and gem hybrid created by scientists from her (yet unnamed) planet. She's one of the only four successful attempts at creating a true diamond. As such she acts as a super-weapon for her planet. They sent them on missions where absolute power is the only solution.

Her personality is charming at first, curious, loud, full of joy and easy to talk to. In truth she's an unhinged, cruel and selfish person with an unsettling fascination with blood and anything red. She's indifferent on gems or humans, she doesn't even care for conflict she's fighting in. She respects people with strong convictions and mental fortitude. People who are strong physically, heroes or villains doesn't matter. Fighting for her planet only allows her to meet such people more often!

DROLL LAUGHTER DRIZZLES from his lips. An effort is made — albeit a poor one — to muffle the sound against the back of his hand, though hindsight warns him he may regret laughing at all. His leisurely spread across a bench shifts minimally; lithe fingers rake back through strands of spun ebon. "Careful. You might have jinxed it. Isn't that usually when you're most likely to?" Suguru quips, wild amethyst eyes now fixed to her as he ties his hair back.

"Have you considered taking even the rest of the day?" His head cants to the side; shorter strands fall free to form his signature face-framing bang. "Maybe you can stop it in its tracks." At the very least, his partner in crime remains absent from the conversation, though he can almost hear the subsequent jeering Satoru would unleash.

Sonar wouldn't necessarily call himself an outdoors man, but he had to admit the outskirts of the Shang Tu palace could look stunning in the morning light.

His being out here in the morning, though, meant that he was working. He had his own job, a primary source of income doled out by a very begrudging boss known for his stinginess in anything that wasn't literally elevating his position, but it still paid decently enough. But his current living situation was... also similarly begrudging, with his fiancee practically begging the Regent to let him live with her. Apparently the answer was a big, fat no, multiple times, and she nagged the Regent constantly until she gave in. That was a funny thought: Carol just... saying please over and over and over, an increasingly-weary sounding no from Neera in response.

So, there was a compromise. Sonar could stay with Carol in her temporary living space in the palace, but Neera wasn't going to "tolerate any more freeloaders", so he had to perform at least a few duties every week to at least contribute. And that was fine, really; his work at the Battlesphere didn't take up too much of his time and while Zao was famously upset about giving any sort of money to someone that wasn't himself, he at least paid somewhat decently. Everything worked itself out, in the end. And he could sense Neera had a heart, ice-cold as it was.

The white hedgehog found himself in a grassy park on the grounds, doing one of the more mundane tasks of looking for garbage. The grounds were open to the public, though entrance into the actual palace itself was typically restricted. And the people of Avalice were just like any other, like his own planet. They littered.

Oh, well. Things could be worse. He could be cleaning toilets or something.

But then a familiar-looking figure caught his eye, and after a few moments he realized he was staring, trying to place where he knew them from. He could feel his face flush just slightly when they noticed. Well, if he's been made, he might as well engage. He smiled to himself at that thought- Corazon's been rubbing off on him. "Yo!" he called, waving as he started towards them. "Sorry for staring, but you look really familiar and I can't put my finger on it."

“I guess if you just have to choose... then you don’t need me.” Bran sighed dramatically, seemingly defeated. “You drive a hard bargain, Aandag.” He murmured as he wrapped his arms around the younger man to hold him close. 

He placed his lips on the man’s temple before letting go of him. “Come find me when you’re ready... hopefully that will be soon.”

Aandag blinked in surprise, a wash of panic and guilt welling up inside of him as Bran's lips met his temple so soft and sweet. How had he ever deserved someone like him? He'd meant the answer is play-- a rare moment of high esteem for himself, but that had crumbled quickly.

"Wha-- Bran..." he objected as the arms let him go, leaving him feeling a little more alone than he liked-- and Aandag was rather fond of his time alone. "That's- that's not what I-- I know what I want."
