14. If they could change or add one thing to Amaranth what would it be?

He would be the god of it. No, let’s be serious. I think he would change the default housing so Spiral’s End wasn’t so crowded with people. It’s surely noisy and overstimulating for him, and he’s probably not the only one.

13. What is their last memory before the apocalypse or their death? Gee, this is a tough one, so tough that I didn’t even answer it yesterday like I was supposed to. I think his last memory would be fairly boring, just chilling out and hiding from Elysius wanting to kill him. If I can think of something more exciting later, I’ll probably write on it...

12. Do they get along with their partner, if they have one? If they do not have one, what do they feel about the prospect of getting one?

Having been recently reassigned to a new partner, he hasn’t actually met them yet. We should totally thread together sometime @knighterroneous  Shade doesn’t really get along well with anybody, though. I imagine he feels trapped by having to have a partner.

11. How do they feel about the Core? He feels like it’s noisy, that’s what. It’s certainly more people than he’s ever been used to, so he’s on edge when it comes to being out in the open. Though it’s not all bad to him. He’s constantly learning new things from all the different types of people in the Core. It just takes a little getting used to.

10. Do they miss their home world? Of course Shade misses his home a bit, I think almost anyone would. It’s not an extremely strong nostalgia though; remember Shade hung out by himself in the wilderness most of the time rather than enjoying a domestic lifestyle, so there’s not much for him TO miss.

9. What is their favorite pastime? Brooding. To be more specific, Shade likes nights with a full/near-full moon and likes meditating while watching it. He does like his peacefulness after all. That’s why I have a few pictures of the moon on this theme; it’s METAPHORICAL.

8. Do they have any favorite childhood memories? Technically, Shade never had a childhood; he’s been his exact same self forever. But he does have old memories he cherishes. Believe it or not, he did used to hang out with his fellow gods willingly, back when the world was new. They used to form a campfire every night and tell stories, sing songs, those sorts of things. Now Shade didn’t often JOIN these festivities, but he did like to be there with them and enjoy the feeling of belonging.

7. Who is the most important person to them? Pffft Nobody is important to Shade. Everyone is dispensable. I guess the most important person to him WAS his ally, the Goddess of Time, Aeternias. They weren’t friends but they did cooperate well. Of course, with the whole apocalypse now she’s dead and Shade’s alone on Amaranth with zero companions. I’m kind of hoping he can make one or two but we’ll see.
