Cw: Language

"No, considering the size of this thing, I think it'll be best if we take the ground route!"
" And then what? If we take the ground route, the rest of the path will be a massive pain to traverse. I say we—"
Tommy can't believe the scene in front of his eyes.
It's in a dim light, but his eyes are already adapted enough to make sense of what is in front of him.
There are two tiny people, currently bickering over the path they should take a massive block of sugar in.
"No because if you took the upper route, it'll take too long for us in the open. The human can—"
Tommy's hand moved by itself to the light switch, the lamp flickered on, and the two tiny people's head turned towards Tommy.
Their eyes locked.
One, two, three seconds was spent in silence.
And the two tinies sprinted. No sound nor agreement was made. They both sprinted for their lives— even leaving the huge block of sugar they were bickering after— and before Tommy can even finishes his call for the two tinies to "WAIT!", both of them vanishes.

"I'm telling you, Phil. It was fucking amazing!" Tommy cheerily exclaimed.
It is a familiar sight in the Minecraft household. The sun is shining brightly beyond the window, the air is filled with both warm smells of breakfast and the warm conversations of the household's member.
"Yeah, mate?" Phil replied with little laughs laced in them as he served their breakfast on to the table. Eggs and toast. Yum.
"Phil, I don't know if that laugh means you don't believe me or it's just your usual reaction" Tommy pouted, but was quickly lighted up by the sight of breakfast in front of him.
"Nah, nah. It's my usual reaction. Don't worry about it" Phil replied, his mouth still wide. But, to be truthful, Phil didn't believe Tommy— yes his story is amusing, but that doesn't mean he'll suddenly believe tiny people exists. So, for now, he'll listen to Tommy eagerly
"There are two of them, Phil! One of them was even pink-haired! They were fighting about something about the route they're taking or some shit— They didn't know I was looking at them! And then when I turned on the lights, both of them looked at me, and we stood still, and then—" Tommy's story was abruptly cutted off by him coughing out the hot food in his mouth.
"Whoa, whoa. Slow down mate!" Phil instinctively stood up "You can tell the story slower, okay? I won't go anywhere"
"Wait— " Tommy coughed " —Fuck— I saw one of them one went here—" Tommy's face lighted up as he stood up, and inspected one of the kitchen counters' corner, and his shoulders slumped. "there's nothing here.."
"Aw mate.." Phil followed Tommy to his spot, and surely enough, there's nothing there. No strange things there, just your normal corner kitchen counter, not even specks of dust were visible. "It's okay Tommy, let's go back to our breakfast, yeah?"
With a slow nod, Tommy agreed

"Food, none. Utilities, ran out. Medical, never existed." Wilbur listed out as he checks on their preparations on moving out "How about on your end, Techno?!" Techno is checking the preservatives for (maybe) future food they'll (probabably) find along their way of moving out, their stuffs, and a few tools they're going to need along the way— Including borrowing tools.
"In terms of things. We have no things" Techno dryly replied "Good news though, our books and personal belongings similar to that are in a good conditions— so is our tools, but I'd like more charcoal, we almost ran out of them from out previous book raid" Techno continued. "How about you?"
" We have food enough for today and maybe half a day for tomorrow, our firewood just ran out— so does the tissues and everything else— and you know how our medical supply is" Wibur grinned as he explained, already accepting their condition. Damn, they should consider stacking up their supplies in the next house they're borrowing in. "So what're we going to do?"
"I think you already knew what we're going to do, judging by your grin" Techno deadpanned

——————
"Yeah" Techno nodded, agreeing to search for Wilbur with the human.
"Here."
The human opened a hand in front of Techno, looking as though he's fully expecting Techno to step on to it.
For a moment, Techno and the human just, stared. Stared at the open palm in front of them, gears turning inside their head about What (the fuck) is this situation. Phil honestly didn't think through on how to carry Techno troughout the whole search and Techno is really contemplating to just, limping the whole search. Sitting on a human's hand didn't work out for him the last time. Plus, It's weird.
"Uhm—" Phil was the first one to speak up, quickly pulling his hand from the desk. "—I'm sorry, I should've asked about how you want to be carried"
Or if I want to be carried at all Techno adds to himself. Honestly, he's not too keen on being carried. But what choice does he have? His body still hurts from his injury and the squeeze earlier, and whether he likes it or not, he needs the human for transportation to help search for Wilbur.
"...Techno?" Philza asked, worried about the silence from the smaller creature. He worries if he had made him angry or uncomfortable.
"...shoulder" A small mutter reached Phil's ears.
"What?"
"If— If I'm... carried on your.. shoulder.." Techno struggled altogether to form his sentence. The thought alone made him cringe "The shoulder is.. fine to carry me" Techno finished, looking like he's in physical pain just by saying it. Maybe he is, neither Techno nor Phil knows.
Phil huffed out a breath with a smile. "Okay, how would I carry you to the my shoulder?— should I use my hand as a platform again?"
Techno nodded, continued by Phil spreading his palm in a similar manner to the previous situation. Techno cringed at the thought. He did sat at the human's palm before, but that was on accident. Now, he have no choice but to step on it willingly.
With a heavy breath, Techno took a step to the human's hand. His feet wobbled for a second on the skin surface. It's not a good start.
The next step was... better, maybe. Techno's first feet still wobbled when he puts pressure on it, but he has more courage to put his other feet.
Eventually, through the cringing feeling compression, Techno managed to give a nod to Philza to sign that he's ready
(Don't tell Techno, but Phil lowkey finds it funny how Techno looks disgusted to sit on Phil's hand)
"I'm going to raise you to my shoulder, okay?" Phil said, receiving a nod of affirmation from Techno. With another nod, Phil raises his palm to his shoulder. A slow and steady motion in hope to assure Techno. Fortunately, it did. It was a little rocky on Techno's end, but it did assure him that the human actually considered to not move the platform quickly.
Techno reached Phil's shoulder safely, it was another a held back feeling of disgust from Techno's end when moving from one wobbly surface from another, but he (maybe) can manage that. He needs to find Wilbur.
"Ready?—"
"PHIL HOLY FUCK—" Before Phil or Techno can assure each other, a voice bursted off from Phil's door, making both of them jump. Phil's shoulder tensed, and it took Techno all his willpower to not fall from Phil's shoulder.
"WHAT—" Phil shouted back. Maybe it's because Philza held his voice a bit, maybe it's because he's not in front of the voice source, but Techno's ears doesn't hurt that much. It still hurts, though
"Oh fuck- you're awake- haha, heeeey, Phiiil.." The human who bursted through the door said, clearly nervous about (possibly) waking his father up. The nervousness was quickly erased as soon as he saw the Tiny struggling to climb his father's shoulder, though. "Wait- Phil- the tiny- There you are!" The human said as he walked closer to "The Shoulder Tiny" not noticing the rising anxiousness of the Tiny from him approaching. Phil however, noticed it.
"Wait wait wait, what the fuck are you doing?" Philza said, halting the other human from stepping closer.
"Oh fuck— wait— shit—" the other human said, catching his breath. "Him! The tiny! His brother is looking for him!"
Hi! First and foremost, I really like your writing! Second, maybe 4 with G! Techno and H! Tommy? Thanks :D
Hello!!! Thank you so much!!!! :DD

Giant Techno and Human Tommy

———————
They say giants are vicious, they say giants are evil.
Well, to those people, Tommy will give them a middle finger. Because he met one. A giant.
His name is Techno, he's not evil nor vicious— In fact, Tommy will say that Techno is kind of a pussy. Techno absolutely refuses to go to the human villages, because "That'll be incredibly awkward", according to Techno. So he would just hunt for foods in the forest.
Tommy met Techno for quite a while now— after being exiled from his original village, he stumbled upon Techno's cabin, and got caught by Techno there.
It was not a fun time for Tommy, it took a while for Techno to let him go from a jar— he still don't know the reason why did Techno fucking lock him in a jar—before eventually releasing him to go off on his own. Techno made Tommy promise to not tell anyone about him, though, which Tommy agreed, and quickly ran away from the place.
But before long, Tommy came back to Techno. Tommy remembers, it was honestly an impulse decision of him.
It was nighttime when Techno let Tommy go. And it was nighttime when Tommy saw a mob of people from his village, holding pitchforks and torches, ready to go to where he was coming from. Techno's house.
Tommy smiled at the memory. Sure, he was exhausted trying to sprint as fast as he can, going towards Techno's cabin, trying to find Techno. It was a scary time for Tommy in the jar, sure, but not once did Techno tried to hurt Tommy, no matter how annoying Tommy was trying to be.
"HEEY!" Tommy shouted to the giant, who is in the middle of cooking food.
With a "Huh?", Techno turned around to meet a human he just released an hour ago, confused about his return.
"GIAN— TECHNO!" Tommy shouted again, panting between words "HUMANS!" He shouted, pointing towards the giant's door, trying to get his point across "HUMANS ARE HUNTING YOU—!"
Of course, Techno didn't believe the human. But still, he took precautions and peeked at the window, seeing torchlight and hearing hushed chatters and footsteps. A quick look at that, and Tommy saw Techno tremble— not because of fear, Tommy didn't sense any fear coming from the giant— while holding his head, pulling his long, pink hair. An unseen expression reflected in Techno's face before he once again trapped Tommy in a jar and ran away to their current location.
It has been two months since that incident, Tommy thinks. He still hasn't known much about Techno or his intention— like why did Techno brought Tommy with him when he ran away— but Tommy is currently living with Techno in a cave.
They say giants are evil, they say giants are vicious.
But Tommy hasn't felt like that ever since he moved in with Techno. It was a move with a lot of arguments, but after a quick explanation about how Tommy is afraid of villages after being exiled, Techno gave in and let Tommy stay with him.
"Techno!" Tommy called out to Techno, returning from his trip from the river— a basket full of fish on his back. "I'm home!"
Techno spared Tommy a glance from where he's standing— still focusing on cooking his food. "M-hm, give me the fish, I'll cook it" Techno nodded to himself, knowing Tommy is heading towards his direction.
With a "bitch, next time take the fish yourself" grumbled beneath his breath, Tommy gave the basket of fish to Techno— Who only gave a small scoff at the comment— and sat down not too near the fire.
"So." Tommy started, taking the plate of cooked fish from Techno. "Did you remember two months ago?" he continued, not yet eating his fish, instead staring at Techno.
The first week after moving in with Techno, Tommy asked Techno about his intention so many times— why did Techno take him with him, why did Techno avoid humans so much, especially since Tommy knew Techno is so skilled at fighting— and Techno always avoided the question. Without fail.
"Tommy." Techno sighed. Putting down his half-eaten plate of deer meat. "I told you not to talk about that"
"Why not?!— you fucking trapped me that one time, and you still haven't told me why" Tommy retaliated, But Techno ignored Tommy's protest, instead went back to avoiding the question by going to the cave entrance. Tommy took a bite out of his food before continuing "You're so fumkign skilled at fighting— I know! I saw you that one time when you were sword practicing—"
"Wait. Tommy." Techno's voice rang in a hushed tone— but Tommy was too focused in letting out his thoughts to realize it.
"— and then you have these times when you're so fucking creepy— chanting or some shit—"
"Tommy—"
"— and why the fuck do you live alone anyway? There's no way each giants live alon—"
"Tommy— shut up!—" Techno half-shouted, his voice being held back. Tommy only stared at Techno, the usually-calm giant raised his voice at him, and suddenly Tommy remembered the whispers about giants.
Giants are vicious, giants are evil
Those words reverberated in Tommy's head, and when he came to himself, he was trapped inside Techno's palm. Giant fingers wrapped around him a little too tight as he felt the vibrations of the ground shaking far below him and the sound of Techno panting. It reminded him on that night two months ago, when Techno trapped him in a jar, and those words reverberated inside Tommy's head
Giants are vicious, giants are evil
Are they really?
Minutes felt like hours to Tommy, and Techno finally stopped.
"Let- let me fucking go!" Tommy shouted from Techno's palm— much like when he shouted to be let go from a jar 2 months ago.
"Shh." Techno said. Voice low and halted. He's not even looking anywhere near Tommy's direction.
"No, fuck you— Let me fucking go—"
"Shut. up."
Giants are vicious. Giants are evil
No, no, no. Fuck no, Why does that thought has to come up now?
Tommy looked at Techno. Long, pink hair obscuring his face, a dark and heavy atmosphere covered both of them as the only voice Tommy can focus on is Techno's panting. His body now feels numb.
Just after Tommy felt like he's about to lose consciousness, he felt a sharp turn in his surroundings. The world turns into a blur as Tommy finds himself nauseous—
Before he felt a sharp pain on his head, knocking his consciousness out of him.
๑๑๑
It's loud.
The voices inside his head all screamed the same thing. All screamed the thick, red substance the flows throughout living beings body. The voices inside his head screamed for blood
But Techno doesn't want that. He's changed. He's changed and he have tried to prove that. Not hurting the human child that came over to his cabin two months ago, not killing the hoard of tiny humans hunting him right now, trying so hard not to just take one of the tiny being flailing a pitchfork around and just... squishing them for a tiny trickle of the glorious blood—
No.
For blood he already gave Chat animal blood. No human blood. He's changed. He's changed. He's no more the giant who drove his friend away, no longer the giant from the legend— having no mercy to humans. No.
But if he's changed then...
Why did he not protect the human he's sheltering...?
Tommy is a human that came across Techno two months ago. A human he trapped in fear of letting a hoard of human knowing where he lived. A human he used as a tool to remind hinself he's changed.
But overtime, the human had grown on him. Tommy is a... decent guy when you get to know him. Sure, he's loud, he's annoying, but he's... endearing. In some times Tommy talks to Techno about things he did at his previous village— how he saw a rabbit eating one of the villagers carrots, how he stole one of the villagers things, ....how he was exiled from his village...
It didn't broke Techno's heart, no. It was just.. sad. The kid had been exiled from his village and he ended up inside a jar in a giants house.
It was a day after that Techno let Tommy out of the jar— with a promise that the human won't tell anybody about his whereabouts, of course— while hoping the human will get somewhere to live.
To say Techno was surprised to see the human back in his house again, with a warning that a mob of humans going out for him was an understatement.
It was an impulse action from Techno to grab Tommy in a jar, really. But Techno saw the face of a horrified man and it reminded him of the faces of humans he'd killed— maybe, he can still save faces like these.
Maybe it's going to stay as a mere maybe afterall.
It's currently sunrise, Techno had found a cave hiding behind a waterfall— a secure place for him to hide— but Tommy have not yet to wake up. A small droplet of red stained his finger, but Chat seemed to not at all focusing on that — maybe a small part of Chat, really— but the majority of them are asking if Tommy is okay, if he's badly hurt or not. And with the constant ring inside his head, Techno can't help but feel very anxious about it.
The anxiousness was quickly dissipated, though. As Tommy let out a small groan and a small tremor in his figure, struggling to wake up.
"Tommy?" Techno whispered, finally relaxing his shoulder he didn't know were tense the whole time.
Tommy stood up— or at least tried to stand up— slowly, his arm trembling when a force is applied on it. But eventually, when Tommy managed to stand properly, he let out a shrilling screech at the sight of Techno.
"AAAH WHAT THE FUCK—" Tommy screeched, no longer standing up as he fell down into a sitting position. Trying to scoot away as far as possible from Techno— as far as the rock he's on lets him, at least.
A strange uneasiness tugged at Techno's heart. "T-Tommy...?" Techno repeated, slowly trying to reach out his hand to the small human— which the human respoded with an absolutely terrified look and a small shake. Techno stopped reaching out after that.
"H-How did you know my name?!" Tommy shouted out. The uneasiness tugs harder. "Where am I?!" He shouted again. and... "Who are you?!"
Techno felt like his heart is shattering. Tommy forgot about him. Each word feels like is hurting him.
"I..." Techno started, watching intently to Tommy's face full of fear and anticipation. "I'm Techno," He continued, very slowly in picking his words "and You're in a cave I found yesterday— after we escaped from a group of humans"
"Wait— why're humans hunting... us?" Tommy cuts off, "Did you— did you fucking kidnapped me?"
"No!" Techno said, refuting Tommy's accusation too quickly. But a small pause after his word made him realize that... he did initially kidnap Tommy. "...yes" Techno nodded, watching Tommy's expression pale. No— "The humans didn't hunt us because of that, though—"
"You... you kidnapped me." Tommy whispered, barely enough to be audible to Techno.
"Tommy— no—"
"YOU FUCKING KIDNAPPED ME, GIANT!" He shouted out, the pure emotion seething from him made him stand up. Techno's heart feels like it has been stabbed. "I— You—" Tommy took a step back, not registering how he's at the edge of the surface. Tommy let out a shriek as gravity pulled him down the fortunately not high surface.
Techno was about to reach out and help Tommy, but then he heard a quiet sob and saw the curled up form of Tommy.
"You... you kidnapped me.." Tommy said through his sobs. "What are you going to do to me now...?"
"Tommy." Techno called, a finger held out for helping Tommy to get up. "I would never hurt you"
° ° °
"Tommy." the giant called, a massive finger held out for helping him to get up. "I would never hurt you"
Tommy stood up with help from the giant— What was his name? Was it Tech...?— while looking up towards the giant figure.
A long flowy pink hair, two long pointed ears, two tusks poking from his mouth... Tommy remembered it was scary from when he first saw the giant, but for some reason, the assurance from him reverberated inside Tommy's heart. The nagging feeling of familiarity and "home" radiating from the giant to Tommy doesn't help either.
Tommy stared at the giant. He's kneeling, making his form a lot smaller than it should be. Tommy's glad for that. The giant already looks so much bigger kneeling, Tommy doesn't want to imagine his full height. At least, not right now. "are you sure..?"
The giant nods, repeating his words. "Yeah. I would never hurt you, Tommy."
Tommy stared at the giant. Looking at the concerned expression of the giant. Tommy felt reassurance bubbling more inside his heart. Tommy knows the giant is telling the truth.
Eventually, Tommy stepped out from his thoughts, realizing that he's still on the ground— he should go back to the top of the rock.
With very much difficulty, Tommy tried climbing the rock. The first attempt was very much a fail— as soon as he tried climbing, his arm gave up. Tommy guesses it's the numbness. The second attempt, though, Tommy got help from the giant. The giant gave him his palm as a platform.
"Thank you" Tommy mumbled, still feeling awkward— he guesses the giant also felt awkward— judging by the thick tension in the air. "Can- do you- If you said you didn't- didn't kidnap me," Tommy started, trying to break the tension, "then... can you tell me what really happened?"
The giant stopped for a moment, only watching Tommy. His eyes looked like it widened a little. But eventually, he let out a small huff and start telling Tommy a story. How they first met— the giant really did kidnap Tommy— but after a bit of explanation, Tommy understood the situation. The giant then continued telling about how Tommy warned the giant about oncoming group of humans
He then explained about them running away from the humans together— with the giant trapping Tommy again— and when Tommy asked why, the giant hesitated to answer,
"You.. you reminded me of my friend" the giant answered before continuing again. At the back of his mind, Tommy relaxed. Like it was something he needed to know.
The giant continued to tell the story. telling how Tommy asked to live with him. When Tommy asked why, the Giant said "You said you're scared of villages" and Tommy nodded after that. That kind of make sense— an eerie feeling rose at the thought of a distant, but familiar scenery of a village.
At the end of the story, the giant told the story of last night— about how they were chased by humans. The giant said they were bickering when the giant saw a hoard of humans marching towards them, so the giant quickly grabbed Tommy— forgetting to tell him about the current situation— and the giant apologized after that.
"so that's what happened" Tommy mumbled out, looking towards the giant— who looks slightly exhausted from all the storytelling. "Thank you, T- Tech- Tech- Techie..?"
Tommy can only watch as the giant's face changes into an expression similar to shock. "....what" a low— but not menacing— voice said.
"I- fumk- I forgot your name" Tommy meekly said— he's sure that the giant's not angry, but a giant is still making him nervous.
"Techno. Technoblade" The giant — Techno— huffed out.
"That's a fumkign dumb name" Tommy blurted out, but quickly slapped his hand to cover his mouth.
"It's okay. You said that the first time you knew my name too" Techno deadpanned. Tommy let out a very loud laugh at that.
"So uh— Nice.. Nice to meet you?" Tommy said after a moment of waiting his laugh to stop.
"Nice to meet you too, Tommy." Techno smiled
Giants are vicious, giants are evil.
A distant telling of a village rang inside Tommy's head.
Well, to those people, Tommy will give them a middle finger. Because he met one. A giant.
His name is Technoblade, and Tommy knows he's not evil nor vicious.

Chapter 9
Yooooo no language warning this chapter, wooya :D
————
One, two, three, four, five, six seconds of silence passed while Philza's mind quickly-not-surely woke up. His head began to pound as he tries to process what is happening. He has just woken up, and he's currently staring at a scared figure of a tiny person
It's a strange situation. The room is dim, he doesn't know how long has it been since he found two little people at his kitchen, and now he's stuck in a weird laying position while a pink-haired tiny person (was his name Techno? He heard the first tiny person shout out his name) is sitting unmoving in his hand
"Uh—" was all he can say, earning a very noticable flinch from the tiny person.
This time, the tiny person— "Techno", maybe?— doesn't speak, contrary to the last time they met where he raised his voice (Philza thought he has a surprisingly low voice).
"H-hi..?" Phil started, rather unsure to navigate through the situation. "Techno" didn't answer, he remained unmoving. A moment of awkward silence passed, Phil sighed and tried to get up— to try and sit down from the uncomfortable position. This time, "Techno" moved. Holding onto Phil's palm and finger to stabilize himself. "I'm— I'm sorry" Phil stammered out when he noticed "Techno"'s action. Again, the tiny person didn't answer Phil's statement "I'm... going to turn the lights on"
Phil got off from his bed and placed down "Techno" on top of his desk. Surprisingly, the tiny person doesn't move. Phil doesn't know why, he thought that he would've sprinted away when placed on solid ground. Phil made a mental note to ask about it as he turn on the light—
When Phil turned on the light and looked at the tiny person, Phil noticed that "Techno" is... wincing, it's light enough to see that "Techno" has a dark expression while he gripped at his sides.
"What happened?"Phil asked as he walked towards the desk, pulling a chair while keeping an eye out as "Techno" took a massive step back. The current situation bitterly reminded him of the kitchen counter situation. And still, "Techno" doesn't answer. Speaking of.. "Is.. Is your name Techno?" Phil should ask the Tiny person's name. Calling him "Techno" with an unsure voice in his head doesn't really sit right. He could be wrong.
The tiny person flinched before looking up at Phil, eyes wide and mouth agape in shock. Oh, Phil was right on his guess.
"I heard your name being called out by your friend a while ago" Phil said, explaining the silent question.
"Is he here?" This time, Techno spoke up. Slowly and carefully while looking so hard to maintain eye contact with Phil.
"No, I haven't seen your friend after we last met— did something happened to him?" as Phil added the last question, Techno's shoulders slumped and he let out a big breath of relief. Phil doesn't understand the situation, but he's glad for him.
"My.. friend wasn't with me when I woke up, so I thought he went to you" Techno explained, words slow. "and i thought you trapped him" a small, worry-filled addition got caught in Phil's ear, and his heart clenches at the thought behind that sentence.
"I would never trap you or you friend, mate" Phil said, gaining what seems to be a confused look from the tiny person. Somewhere in his head is telling him that Techno doesn't believe him. Phil sighed. "Do you want to look for your friend together, then?"
ooo
No.
No because you're a human and who knows what you're going to do to my twin and me when you saw us together.
No because humans are cruel and we're taught to avoid human contacts at any cost.
That was Techno's original reply before quickly realizing that he can't really move in this situation. His back hurts, his sides hurts, he doesn't think he can last five minutes of walking on a flat surface, let alone traversing the human world— full of massive things he have to climb.
So Techno weighed his option. Either go with the wild card known as the human or searching by himself and fail in climbing and walking and risk getting himself stranded with Wilbur in potential danger.

Chapter 8
Cw: language, maybe. Is the uncensored version of "Dang" a swear? It depends on the person, right?
—————
The house was silent when Techno woke up.
Huh. Strange. Not even Wilbur's quiet paces around the house were heard. Looking around, the bed next to him isn't occupied. Is Wilbur out borrowing? No, he can't be, they promised to borrow together before leaving the house. Also, it's extremely dangerous to borrow when both humans have seen them.
Where is he?
Wilbur thought that Philza was nice a stray thought echoed in Techno's head. And it doesn't leave
No. No it can't be. Is— is Wilbur with the human right now?
It can't be. The thought echoed as Techno got up and walked around the house, searching for Wilbur. Philza is a human, and humans are evil the thought echoed as Techno searched in the vicinity of their house, ignoring his gradually aching pain. But Wilbur thought that Philza was nice was Techno's last thought before he sprinted to Philza's room, grabbing his borrowing tools and ignoring his now-aching body.
It can't be, right?
OOO
Philza's room was dark when Techno entered.
Fortunately, it didn't take long for Techno's eyes to adapt to the lighting as he traversed the room, searching for Wilbur.
Techno honestly forgot about his previous thought, and wondered why he's searching in the human's room. The weight of the room settled in Techno's heart and he thought that it's quite an irrational decision of his for him to search for Wilbur in the human's room. But another thought about Wilbur being trapped by the human solidified Techno's will. Plus, the human is sleeping, so he should be fine. He hopes so.
With a deep breath, Techno thought about the place Wilbur may be (Ignoring the thought that adds the word "trapped" to his sentence). The first place he could come up with is a human's desk.
Humans usually displays things there right? Techno had seen human teenagers puts their school projects on their desks before. And the Human also displays a photograph of him and his son there, so if Wilbur was caught by him, Techno should find Wilbur there.
Techno was halfway on climbing the desk when he finished that thought. He's faster than he thought he'd be. Maybe it's the anxiousness, maybe it's just his disregard of current physical health and he's normally just strong in general, or maybe he's just built different.
Techno let out a small laugh at the thought, and he's on top the desk.
He knows his eyes are adapted to the darkness, but it's still hard to see at the dark, and the random silhouettes he saw of things he thought was Wilbur was not helping. Crumpled paper, desk-type calendar, and other things looked like they may be Wilbur. He even looked at the pencil mug to make sure Wilbur is not there. And fortunately— or not?— Wilbur was not on the human's desk. Good. Wilbur is not captured at all. His body relaxed againts the thought.
That was a terrible decision. As soon as he relaxed, his adrenaline caught up with his injuries, making his body ache. It hurts
It hurts, It hurts so much that Techno lost his grip in balance, and he felt himself falling.
To a soft surface.
Right, the human's desk was beside his bed. Techno was lucky to fell on the bed side. Geez, how much is he going to fall? Though.. Techno doesn't recall a human bed being this warm.
As if on cue, the "bed" moved
It was a small movement, just a little tremble below his feet, but it made his vision suddenly clear.
The huge fingers looming above him, the arm that's attached to the palm below him and the warm feeling of skin on his feet. From all the area he could fell onto, he fell right onto the human's palm.
Before Techno could get off of the skin platform beneath him, it moved again. This time, the fingers above him moved as well, curling up around him and trapping him in its almost-tight grip. Contrary to the first tremble, the hand actually moved, and it carried Techno closer to the human.
When he fell those times, Techno did not scream, only sharp gasps. But this time, he let out a small shout as he was pulled closer to the human. He's too close to the human's face for comfort.
The grip tightened around Techno, and it hurts. Techno's body throbbed in response of it. Another low shout escaped his throat. He should be resting right now, he shouldn't be here. It hurts, it hurts, it hu—
The grip loosened, resulting in Techno letting out the breath he's been holding. Damn that wasn't a fun experience. He should go home, he's searched the human's room, he should go back, maybe Wilbur's at home too.
Before Techno could act, though, the human let out a low groan, making Techno turns his head towards the human.
Techno saw the human blink
Body too hurting to even act accordingly, Techno could only watch with eyes wide as the human opened his eyes.

Ch. 2
—————
Phil thought it would be a normal morning for him. He noticed that he's lacking in some ingridients, so he thought it'd be nice to make a mental list of what he should buy for his grocery run. Yeah. It should be normal. Phil never expected that he'll found himself staring at an unconcious body of a tiny person.
Before him— laying unconscious— was a tiny person. Phil quickly realizes that Tommy was, In fact, not dreaming when he told him the story of how he found two tiny people bickering. Phil haven't forgotten himself thinking Tommy imagining seeing a pink-haired tiny person sure is strange when he heard Tommy mentioned it at the dining table. Wait— wasn't there two tiny people in Tommy's story...?
***
Wilbur is currently frozen still. He couldn't do anything as he watches the human staring at Techno's unconscious body. Fuck— He should've listened to Techno when he said that "It's too early" and to "Wait for the human to go outside, just to be safe". Now Techno is laying unconcious in front of the human, and who knows what the fuck will the human do to Techno.
A whole minute felt like an hour to Wilbur as he stared down at the human who was staring at his twin. Eventually, the human broke out of his trance and decided to poke at Techno's limp body— No no no- what's he going to do to Techno— ..and then the human speedwalked away. His footsteps gave a little echo to the house, he looks like he's in a hurry.
Now's my chance Wilbur thought. He had the vague idea of climbing down as fast as he can, try and drag Techno towards the shadow, wait for the human to leave (while praying that he won't look for them), and go home— That way the human can forgot about Techno and possibly thinking that he was imagining things. It's okay. The borrowing trip can wait. It's okay.
It is not okay. Because as soon as Wilbur was about to initiate his plan, his plan failed. With the human coming back to Techno— with several tools bottles in his hands. Fuck— is he going to experiment on Techno???
Wilbur stared for a good moment at the human and Techno before a loud "Heey!!" startled him. The human was yelling to thin air, to his surroundings. "I know there are two tiny people" oh fuck "please come out, your pink-haired friend is unconcious, and I honestly can't tend to him accurately! If you're here, please help me treat him!!"
Huh?
"Please, I heard from Tommy— The other human— that you two seem pretty close, please help me treat him. I don't want him to die"
"He's going to die?!" Wilbur exclaimed from the top of the cabinet, and the human's head shot up to meet his eyes and Oh fuck, they locked eyes
"Oh phew there you are—" the human breathed out, still locking eyes with Wilbur. "Oh- uh- I actually don't know. I hope not. Can you- uh- can you help me treat his wounds?" he plead. To which Wilbur doesn't know what to do. He wants to go down. He has to. His twin is at the mercy of a collosal human and if Techno is going to be taken away, Wilbur at least doesn't want Techno and himself to be left alone.
Wilbur nodded.
Wilbur nodded and struggled as he tried to climb down the cabinet. He wouldn't dare using his and Techno's path nor his tools in front of the human. It can be used as a proof that "hey! I live in this place long enough to know what I'm doing here and how to tread this place!" and that is not a desireable scenario.
For a moment, Wilbur noticed that the human was opening his hand in favour of a platform— Wilbur dodges it. It doesn't matter if there's a possibility of the human wanting to help him, the thought of him standing on a human's hand was scary and weird.
"How... How do we treat him..?" Wilbur said, words slow when he finally able to reach the same surface as Techno's unconscious body
"Wait a second-" The human cutted his sentence as he takes out a slim, rectangular object, and begin tapping it— to which Wilbur responds VERY defensively, by the way. He doesn't know what the fuck does the object do, but he shouldn't trust whatever the human is doing —Fuck, has he fell right into the human's trap? "So it says here that it's best to check for other injuries, and if the patient is bleeding, to clear out the blood"
"Huh—?"
"Here, I have tissues for that" The human said while handing Wilbur a big sheet of tissue. His face buried in favor of reading the now-shining rectangular object— no wonder he didn't notice how bewildered Wilbur's face is
As a result, Wilbur took the sheet of tissue panickingly, he forgot how light a tissue is, and almost fell over
"Ah fuck— I'm sorry, was it too big? Do I need to cut it for you?"
"Cut what?" Wilbur's expression paled, he wasn't paying attention to the human one for a while. This situation was already weird and scary enough for him. Fumk, is he talking about cutting—
"The tissue" Phil answered, interrupting Wilbur's morbid thought. If Wilbur listened more closely, he could hear the tone on the human's voice mirrored both worry and concern for the him.
"Oh- uh- N-No. I can do it myself, I'm sorry—" Wilbur breathed out. Fuck. No time for panicking. No. Focus. Focus on Techno. He has to treat Techno's injury. Even if it means he'll have to work with a human.
ooo
" —and then I believe after the bandage is wrapped, he should not be moved for a while in caution for any broken bones" the human finishes, and put down the slim, shining rectangular object— which Wilbur swear he knew what the thing is called— swapping it with a pair of scissors, and began to cut the bandage cloth to the appropriate size. "Here, please wrap the bandage"
"I... I don't know how" Wilbur meekly replied, taking in the texture of the bandage cloth in his hand. It's actually a good texture for sheets, maybe he should borrow some sometimes—
"Oh," the human began to look up picture tutorial on how to wrap bandages on his phone. Not noticing Wilbur's pale face.
Fuck fuck fuck. The previous realization finally caught up to Wilbur. He's a borrower— a small, small being— next to a Human —A huge being who have too much power over Borrowers and is very ....cruel.
"Here" the human said, as a sudden shine encompassed Wilbur's view.
It's the rectangular object—No, wait, it's a "Phone" right?— It's the phone. Specifically the shining side of the phone— the side that the human was reading the information from— directed towards Wilbur. A white screen with pictures and instructions on how to wrap a bandage was shown on it.
"To be honest I actually didn't know so I had to search it up. You can follow the instructions here— uh..?"
Wilbur's vision blurred, and his knees feels weak, and before he knew it, his face is now wet
Has the human ever shown any ill intent to both of them this far?
"Are you.. crying...?" the human's— Philza's — sudden voice from above him woke him up from his trance, and Wilbur shot his head up to look at the human.
This is actually Wilbur's first time to look at Philza's face so very clearly, without the usual fear that clouds his mind. His face was big, sure enough, and it took up Wilbur's whole view. But it's not that, Philza's face was so.. Kind. Oh stars they are so kind. A pair of big green eyes are locked on to his brown pair. Philza's expression reflects no malicious intent, his eyebrows furrowed in worry for Wilbur, his mouth half-opened in concern of an unsaid "are you okay?" for Wilbur, and his eyes are practically shining with kindness. Kindness that is directed towards Wilbur.
It teared down the dam on Wilbur's heart.
And Wilbur cried.
Wilbur cried until his body was exhausted on energy, and he sleeps. Wilbur fell asleep with the soft bandage cloth in his hand, and Wilbur fell asleep without knowing the soft bandage cloth blanketed his body by Philza.

Chapter 7
Cw: language
—————
Wilbur ran
The tile has gone loose, and it revealed one of him and Techno's smaller storage rooms along with him to the human.
Wilbur ran. He ran as fast as he can, heading towards the path to their smaller corridors, because Wilbur can't be too certain if the human's hand can't fit in the storage room
"Wait!" The human exclaimed. All too familiar. This feels like a deja-vu, the only difference is the location and the volume of the human's voice. Wilbur sprinted through it all.
"I'll give back your notebook!" The human called out. Just as when Wilbur was about to enter the corridor, Wilbur stopped, feeling intrigued, but doesn't turn around. Because why the fuck is the human going to give the book now? It's a bait. It has to be
"Here— wait a sec" and Wilbur was about to leave, not even bothered to wait for the human. But was proven to be unachievable, as the human really took seconds— Wilbur's pretty sure it's a two seconds interval, even. "Your book." the human's voice behind him echoed, and Wilbur turned around. And he quickly regrets doing so.
The sight terrifies him. The fairly-small opening(from the human's perspective) acted as a frame for the human's massive hand— the sight alone made Wilbur gave his past self internal claps for not freaking out when working with Phil— and his notebook is right outside of the opening. Meaning he have to be exposed to the human. He repressed a shudder from the thought alone.
Wilbur took a shaky breath, trying to calm himself down. His voice shouldn't be shaky, he shouldn't look scared "Put the book in the opening!" He yelled out.
"Well, no" the human replied lightly.
"Why?" why not? just slide the fucking thing in he adds internally
"We made a deal, big man" The human answered, and Wilbur doesn't know if the "big man" phrase was used to mock him or not "Either you come reveal yourself and ask for the book yourself, or you answer my question." the human started "And since you've technically revealed yourself, all you gotta do is take the book yourself"
Well that's fucking stupid.
"A deal is a deal, and I won't try to hurt you or some shit, don't worry" the human's hands shifted, now not visible through the opening. And Wilbur honestly don't know if that's a good or bad thing— because he doesn't feel all that anxious anymore now the hands are out of the way. But that also mean he doesn't know where the hands are. For all he know the human's hand may be above the opening, preparing to catch him.
"So are you coming out or no? If not, I'll take the book, you know" the human's voice echoed, maybe impatient maybe curious, Wilbur doesn't want to fucking know.
But he do know that he doesn't have any fucking choice, does he?
With a "Fuck it" grumbled in his mouth, Wilbur stomped through the entire room. And when he reached the opening, he instictively gulped. because damn looking up was not a good idea
This is the second time Wilbur had been so close to a human in his life— the first one being Phil— but that time was different, Phil is nice. This is the second time Wilbur had been so close to a human, and looking at the practically wall in front of him, Wilbur froze.
The human literally towers over him. Not to mention even the human's hands— that is right beside the opening's exit on both sides— that can oh so easily trap him in their grasps... Wilbur unconsciously shuddered at that thought.
The previous annoyance gone, Wilbur meekly stepped out of the shade that the wall gave him, and damn that felt fucking weird. His body was exposed to the air and the human's gaze, and even though Wilbur did not dare to look up at the human's face, he can feel the human's anticipation and excitement when he sees him. Oh fuck it felt weird.
Wilbur snapped out of his thought— damn he froze multiple times today, fuckin' hell— and continued walking, with each steps placed carefully— like there's some sort of trap will set off if he walked the wrong way.
When Wilbur reached the book, he tried stopping himself from looking up, but he failed. Wilbur was expecting to see a face of annoyance— maybe even a bored or a smug look— but to Wilbur's surprise he's looking at a face of awe from a smiling human Wilbur thought he had seen sparkles in the human's eyes. That was a weird feeling, by the way, being stared at so intently. Besides that, Wilbur also looked at the human's hands beside him, and they both remained unmoving— just like when he was walking towards the book.
Huh. He stuck to his words.
This is the second time Wilbur had looked at a human's face from up close, and both times are a really contradicting experience from the stories he had been told.
The stories he had read and told tells him humans are cruel— they will not help those who are different from them. The stories he had read and told tells him that humans are liars— lying in the way that will hurt others for their own sake. And the stories Wilbur had read and told tells him that if he was found by a human, he will not escape.
But here he is. Free after getting found and being helped by a human, and before him a human who stuck to his words stands tall.
So Wilbur asked.
"Are you nice?"
ooo
If Tommy was asked if he's nice, he'll answer that of course he fucking is. He thinks everyone will answer that too. Because who the fuck thinks they're a bad person?
But being asked that out loud and in that careful and scared tone, Tommy finds himself wondering about it. Is he nice?
Well now he doesn't fucking know that himself
And so Tommy sat down— ignoring how the tiny immensely flinched— finally having to look at the tiny without looking down, "I dunno, big man. Am I?" he breathed out. Feeling more... concerned than anything, really. To which the tiny responds with a dumbfounded look. "Do you think I'm nice?"
For a few seconds, both Tommy and the tiny held a staring contest. Not knowing what to say themselves— the tiny looked deep in thought though.
"I do." The tiny finally said, breaking up both the silence and the staring contest. Tommy blinked. "You stayed true to your words, and you haven't done anything bad yet to me. So I think you're nice"
"Well that answers that, innit?" Tommy sighed. The tiny looked at him with a new type of realization. Like Tommy just said the most useful knowledge there is to mankind. "I think I'm a fucking nice person, sure, but if the person who asked doesn't fucking think so, then I'll just look like a shit person"
"O-Oh.." The tiny said, letting his voice waver rather than the strained bravery Tommy had heard earlier. "So you're not going to hurt..." the tiny paused "Us. You're not going to hurt us, right?"
"Well, yea" Tommy said, noticing the drooping shoulders from the tiny "Unless the two of you are assholes." Tommy supplied. Receiving a slight shock and a laugh from the tiny. Similar to the one that revealed the tiny. "I'm Tommy." He said, holding out his hands for a handshake— or a finger-hand-shake— to the tiny.
"I—" The tiny cuts himself, taking a step back from the hand, hesitating.
"You don't have to tell me your name, I just think that it'd be a nice time to introduce myself" Tommy added, noticing the pale look from the tiny. Tommy still held his hand to him, though.
"...Wilbur" He finishes, taking a deep breath as he accept the finger-hand-shake.
Tiny hands shook againts massive finger, and Tommy smiled
"Already knew your name though" The tiny— Wilbur adds, grinning.
It's a harsh, harsh world, and Philza Minecraft will do anything to survive.
In this harsh world for him— A Tiny—and he'll use whatever resources he can. Because he has to survive.
...
Philza Minecraft is a tiny that has lived for a long time. Far longer than the normal amount, actually. It's not because of tinies has longer lifespans than humans, No. Actually, there are recent research proving that a tiny has a bit shorter lifespan than a human. But Philza has lived far longer than a tiny and a human's lifespan.
And he owes it to his lover.
"Lady Death" people call her. Whispers bouncing along the cities of travelers— humans and tinies alike— he heard.
"Lady Death has fallen in love with a mortal" the folktale whispered to children said. "The mortal took the love, and swore to her that he will give her everything" It continues on "Lady Death rejected it, Death doesn't desire worldly things. Death has seen things come and go. But there is something that Death desires." The folktale echoed, and Philza knows the continuation "The mortal then was gifted two things, with one of them being 500 years for life. And then Lady Death asked the mortal—"
"Phil?" a voice echoed. Snapping Philza's reminiscense. Phil looked up, and was met with a concerned face "You okay?"
"Yeah, Techno. I'm fine" Phil replied.
Technoblade. A travelling warrior who helped him when he was hunted. It was a frightening situation and though Phil was sure he could escape by himself— especially since he has that thing— he still appreciates the help.
After that incident, Techno and Phil travelled together. They'll travel together for the span of maybe three months. They were heading the same way— with Techno getting a yearly invitation to the neighbouring kingdom colloseum and Phil is Phil, travelling wherever his feet brought him, and it just so happens that he was heading towards the neighbouring kingdom.
They got along great. there was this another time where Phil was almost got taken away by a bear, and Techno saved him— again, a frightening situation where Phil is sure he can get out of it by himself (he carries a sword around for a reason) but were nonetheless grateful at Techno for saving him.
As for Techno, when Phil asked why Techno still bother travelling with him, Techno gave him a simple "Why not?" and continue on eating the freshly-cooked bear meat. Phil laughed it off with a "That mindset will cause you trouble one day, mate"
Of course, Phil isn't being a total hindrance or anything, Phil has a vast knowledge of things in general. There are times when he knew that a certain source of water is poisonous or times when he knew exactly what to do when they saw a traveler got bitten by a poisonous snake(Techno got bit once, actually)
They got along great. Techno doesn't seem to mind or care that Phil is a tiny. He cares for Phil. Several nights were spent with them telling stories to each other— which Phil had plenty— and several mornings were spent with them laughing and relaxing around small animals.
But again. It's a harsh world.
Techno and Phil lives in a harsh world where it's very possible for strangers to try and kill them
And said situation is happening now.
It's getting dark. The sun is gleefully moving down its path, waiting for and cares for no one.
It's getting dark, and two travellers— with one of them being a tiny— meet another pair of travellers.
"It's getting dark. Why don't we rest here for the night?" Offered one of the opposing pair of travelers to Techno and Phil. They agreed, It'll be safer to stay in groups, afterall.
Techno and Phil didn't know, that the decision will cost them greatly.
It was so sudden, the moment the two "travellers" noticed their guards are down, they attacked. One of them locking Techno's movement and the other trapping Phil in a wooden cage while helping the other one locking Techno down.
The situation got ugly very, very quickly
Phil isn't listening to the two "travellers" anymore. His mind is digging up memories. Memories from 232 years ago. Memories from when he first died.
Philza Minecraft died in the hands of hunters. In a cage.
No. Fuck no. Phil thought. I can't die here. I can't— I shouldn't— I still have to—
Philza looked around. It's dark. Dark and wet. It had just hit Phil's mind that it had rained. Before him, Techno is struggling from the hold. The two people who tried to take them are distracted from trying to keep Techno in his place, including the one that's in charge of Phil's cage.
The people had taken Phil's sword, but they hadn't taken anything else from him. The thought left Phil grinning. A foolish decision, really. He's tiny, sure, but that doesn't mean he doesn't carry a hidden blade around.
The wooden cage is normally a hassle to cut, but it's nothing compared to when he was locked in a steel cage centuries ago. The wooden cage was a breeze compared to that.
Thus, Philza Minecraft broke free
Philza Minecraft broke free, and spreaded out his wings.
Philza Minecraft broke free, spreaded out his wings, and looked at each of the human's face. Including Techno's face.
A shine of awe sparked in his eyes, his mouth is left half-open in shock. But most of all, he had the expression of a pleading man. Wanting to be helped.
—but before that, let me tell you a story.
A folktale passed around the world for generations. A story about Lady Death.
A story you have yet to finish reading.
Lady Death gifted a mortal whom she loved two gifts, with one of them being 500 years for life, and one of them was wings.
Lady Death then asked the mortal "Can you live my 'life' for me?" the mortal who was madly in love with Death agreed, and Death gave the mortal a part of her soul, hoping to experience the 'life' she has never experienced.
—that mortal was Philza Minecraft.
That's why Philza shouldn't die.
That's why Philza will do anything to survive.
That's why Philza only spared his two and a half month-long friend a glance, and flew away. Philza had a chance to help him. But he will not take it. Not if it risked the life he had to share with Death.
Afterall, what's two and a half month to a centuries old being?
...
Behind Philza, Techno was left alone. Alone with the two people who were trying to take him.
Alone with the memory of Philza, asking him why Techno had still bothered taking him along. "Why not" Techno had answered. And with the back figure of a flying Philza, Techno had realized what did Philza meant when he said "That mindset will cause you trouble one day"
