1. Would you consider your Tumblr to be a slice of you, a scrapbook of things you want to be, a search for social validation, a daily laugh source- what do you think?
More of a slice of me, it's sort of just a collection of the things I like and support.
2. Why do you think about things the way you think about things? Why do you think you think that? Get as preposterously introspective as possible.
I think because of all of the experiences and memories and collections of emotions that people have, it turns them into what they are. Without our experiences and memories, we would be nothing and have no opinions or thoughts- which is why the older we get the more opinionated we tend to be- and if we were to each grow up in the same manner, and have the same memories, we'd probably all end up having the same thoughts and opinions and personalities. We're just walking libraries of our own thoughts.
3. How much do you think you don’t know about yourself?
Quite a bit. There are still some things I'm figuring out. I know quite a bit too though. I guess the amount I know and don't know is about even.
4. How long do you spend using the internet every day, and when are you on most- what impact has that had on your life?
About an hour or two- more if I'm bored and want to wikipedia random things- and I'm usually on in the middle of the night. I don't get a whole lot of sleep.
5. Was social media a necessary invention?
No, but it's been both beneficial and detrimental. I don't think it's something we need, people were functioning fine before it too.
6. What in your opinion is the worst designed social network and why?
Twitter? I've never used it but I think it's confusing, and I don't quite understand it.
7. What is the stupidest thing you’ve said out loud? What about on the internet?
I have said far too many stupid things out loud.... I'm not sure which would be the dumbest. I once thought that ham was a species of bird and always thought that when I ate ham I was eating a female turkey since it comes in sliced lunch meat like chicken and turkey. For some reason I thought all lunch meat was birds and didn't think pig could be made into a lunch meat like that and could only be called pork...and then once on a date I said that the pier in the town I live in looks like a giant grilled chicken...I don't know what it is with me and birds. As far as the internet goes, I don't post much of my own words, but my friends post most of the stupid things I've done and said. True friendship.
8. Take a solid 60 seconds to stare at a wall and think of something deep and original. Write it here.
Portly purple platypuses preach on Pluto puking pea soup and pumpkin pie- while portraying puffy, poetic, piranha-like physicist pigs that putt on the putting green of life.
9. How long do you think you could go without talking to another living thing?
Do plants count? Because I really enjoy talking to them and they are living, but they don't say things back out loud. If I can't talk to plants then probably not very long.
10. It’s the zombie apocalypse. Right now. This very moment, worldwide. There are zombies closing in on where you’re standing. What do you do? What’s your plan for trying to survive the next 24 hours?
Plan my death. Or try and escape to a pub like in Shaun of the Dead. But probably just die. At least I'd be getting eaten so I'd be recycled as energy for the zombies and my body wouldn't go to waste by rotting in a coffin. But get incredibly wasted before I sacrifice myself.
