Amadeus Thorne

Since I’ve shared about Shadows Dae, here’s his cannon playthrough, Warden Dae.

As said before Amadeus and his twin sisters, Honouria ‘Ria’ and Harmonia ‘Nia’ (call them by their full first names at your peril.) were born in Tevinter, with their father Tybalt Amell originally from Ferelden that migrated north during the Fifth Blight and was adopted into the Mercar family.

Their mother is Myriani, a Dalish that Tybalt met and fell in love with, eventually marrying in a private ceremony, with their firstborn, Amadeus, being born not long after, followed by Ria and Nia.

Tybalt and his children became involved with the Shadow Dragons and the siblings would have stayed with the Shadows had a convoy they were assigned to protect not been attacked by Darkspawn, tainting them with blight.

Fortunately, a Warden named Thorne happened across them and took them to Weisshaupt, where they took the Joining to save their lives.

To honour the man that saved their lives, they changed their last names to Thorne as they settled into their new life and calling.
