Well, I wasn’t *really* into Apple stuff when I got it either - it actually came free with my graduation ring. It was super useful though because I would clip it to the hem of my t-shirt and it wouldn’t get gross-sweaty by the end of the session.

Man I need to find a way to get a free shuffle then! LOL I swear I've had friends who are like "oh yeah I just got this free from x" lol if only I was so lucky! Still that is a good benefit, my other concern was how to hold it since none of my work out pants have pockets (which makes like 0 sense but that's typically women's clothes for you >< ) But thanks for the info! :)

When I first started “going to the gym” I had this AWESOME first generation ipod shuffle. It was perfect! Just enough music for a workout.

Man I totally had a response typed out and then tumblr derped Anyway, I totally used to have a first gen ipod but stupidly gave it away to my ex for her birthday, AUGH. I bet it'd still be working if I'd kept it >< Ah well I've seen a ton of shuffles on Amazon for a decent price maybe I'll give in to it since I just need it for the music...hmmm
