Pete and Alicia’s round - he had Amanda over for some poker when it began. Alicia stayed up til the wee hours of the morning to get skill points for a promotion, and read by the little one’s crib.

Pete and Alicia’s round - he had Amanda over for some poker when it began. Alicia stayed up til the wee hours of the morning to get skill points for a promotion, and read by the little one’s crib.
John and Wendy Luxe were empty-nesters and just rattling around in this huge house with just themselves and two cats, which is kind of boring. I also was not a big fan of the house their son Travis and his family were living in anyways, so I decided to try the whole multi-generational household thing and solve two problems at one, since this massive house had three empty bedrooms anyways!
So Travis and Amanda moved back in (and back into Travis’ childhood bedroom, updated for adult tastes of course) along with their teenage daughters Naomi and Nadine who get to know their grandparents better now. I’m really enjoying this set up way better, I far prefer playing larger households! I might be doing more multi-generational households in the future. Having a mod that takes the 8 Sim limit off sure helps.
Naomi and Nadine’s birthday came up, time to enter adulthood!
Instead of taking individual portraits, I used the opportunity of everyone being around for the party to indulge in my favourite hobby - analyzing family resemblances!
Nadine looks a lot like her paternal aunt Thea as you can see in the middle pic.
Naomi looks more like her mother and her grandmother (who was a redhead before she reached the elder stage, and so was Naomi’s grandmother on the paternal side so I really hope that trait pops up somewhere else somehow).
The newly multi-generation household of Luxe and Carson make the most of the patio and pool out back. Nadine, on the right on the lounge chairs, literally sat there the entire day and did not get up. If it weren’t for everyone else doing their thing I would have wondered if free will was off. Nope, just being lazy!
