Felica Valery
Benny passes away almost immediately. Easy come, easy go as they say.
Business isn't going great in the shop either. No one seems to like Felica, meaning her love life isn't going great either.
But what she lacks in results, she makes up for in efforts. She will stay up all night practicing her craft. She's actually been rolling more wishes to do pottery, or talk about it than flirt with anyone, which is surprising for a romance sim. It's not even her one true hobby or anything.
Through her dedication (and having a sale) Felica gets the shop back on it's feet, and even finds time to flirt.
Uh well, I'm glad you are excited about cooking, but can you not stand right next to the fire, also wtf is going on with your hands?
Y'all, that was a close one. I did not think she was gonna make it.
To celebrate her survival, and the start of spring, Felica goes to the newly opened pool, and didn't pay for it. She finally roles the want to go on a date.
Doesn't matter if it's karma, or if Felica should be glad she didn't pay for the pool, it starts raining. Despite that, the paying guests still enjoy themselves while dancing, and Felica finds someone to flirt with.
Annnnd he runs away before I can get his name, damn. At least Henry seems to be having a good time, looks like he's probably about to go home and have some of whine and cheese with his wife he loves very much. I hope he has a great time.
Considering that the only other people at the pool are old men, and the owner who is married, Felica gives up and goes home.
To add insult to injury, when she is at the pool Elvira Kumar asks if Felica can watch after her two kids and feed them since her and her husband are going to be out late (or at least that's my narrative explanation for why I had a teen come over and become my sims best friend, even if it was actually because Felica wanted to be Tina's best friend, and I needed to fix her abysmal aspiration.
I end up leaving this household with Tina blocking the stairwell with her jump roping while Felica is passed out on the first floor.
Oh, and a burglar is here. Great.
(As a side note, so far none of my sims have bought any cars, which we will get to probably around week 13. If a sim doesn't have a car, I don't let them go between sub-hoods, don't let them order a cab, and try and be reasonable about what is walkable and what is not, which is the main reason she ended up going to the pathetic pool to try and find a date.)
