Why do fans have to be such assholes to the musicians they supposedly love?

This is a question I often ask myself. Even if the woman was there to try and get off with her that is not how you go about it. The person who sexually assaulted her when she was crowdsurfing, I don't even fucking know... The level of disrespect they have for other people is astounding. You buy an album or a ticket to their show and now, what, you own them? They owe you anything you want to take from them? Especially given how much she already gives her community, it's ridiculous. Man, if we got even a quarter of the amount from Richard* that we get from her...

*Richard because I find them the most similar in demeanor and looks and because he seems the most likely to do it. I'm surprised he doesn't run Emigrate on patreon the way she runs her Stuff, honestly. Too much consistent engagement, maybe? Too many direct comments?
