This series explores the expressions of author Khalil Gibran, in The Prophet, through a leadership lens. Kahlil Gibran wrote in The Prophet: “You would measure time the measureless and the immeasurable. You would adjust your conduct and even direct the course of your spirit according to hours and seasons.” Modern leadership is sometimes built on inbox zero, back-to-back meetings, and faster decisions. We might equate speed with competence and responsiveness with value. Much of modern leadership struggle is not a lack of effort or intelligence, but a distorted relationship with time.
