Who do you aspire to be like?
I'm not really sure if I aspire to be like anyone because I want to become my own person and have my own individuality. But if I really had to think on it, I guess I aspire to be like feminist writers and poets, women supporting Women's Liberation like Lucille Clifton, Margaret Atwood and Sylvia Plath.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my academic and personal success. As selfish as they may be, it's the honest truth. Even though I'm barely nineteen and still have a long way to go, I feel to have gained so much knowledge on everything I have been introduced to.
If you could have any material item, what would it be and why do you want it?
Currently, I would love to have my own car (haha!). It's still a work in progress, and I'll need to it for driving to my future job and go on solo road trips.
What could you not survive without?
Communication. I've become more of an introvert the past few years, but occasionally I need to hear the voices of people outside of my household and have conversations with people. It keeps me content. Also my collection of novels-all of my literature and cult fiction books I couldn't live without!
What’s the happiest memory you have?
I think most of my happiest memories, if not all, involve being around my best friend, Alex. I was probably at my most happiest just physically being by his side and I think most of my good friends could easily detect that. He moved but that doesn't mean I am unhappy, but I'm always nostalgic now.
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Hopefully by the time I'm 29, I see myself being fully content with my life. Having a loving husband and children (I want to get married and have at least one child before I'm 30) would be a bonus.
Describe your ideal boyfriend.
Haha! Well let's see. I don't know if I really have an ideal boyfriend, unless he's Alexander Skarsgard then that's about it. But seriously, I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic and subconsciously set high standards when it comes to men-I think it's because I read so many novels that I try finding a male companion within the criteria of the fictional heroes. He just needs to unconditionally love me, be faithful and understand that I like having my independence. I don't mind if he's a little overprotective, but not to the point where my social life is at risk. And he needs to be well-balanced and have great hair. And watches anime with me.<3 But those are a bonus.
What qualities does your best friend have?
HE'S A SUPER INTELLECT, I JUST WANT TO STRANGLE HIM BECAUSE HE IS SO SMART ON ALMOST EVERYTHING. IT'S WEIRD. He's also the kind of person everyone gets along with, I've never witnessed someone hate him for any logical reason. He's a comedian all on his own, he naturally makes people laugh. But when personal struggles and conflicts enter, he knows when to be serious and gives incredible advice.
What’s your favourite past time?
I don't know if I have a favorite past time, I never involved myself in any sports or athletic activity when I was younger. The only activity I can really think of that I enjoy in my spare time is reading. I've had a library card since I was 7 (which I need to renew haha!) and so I always spent hours in the library reading books.
Who’s the most important person in your life and why?
I cannot easily choose someone out of my nineteen years as the most important. Or rather, I cannot answer this right now because I feel like when I have children, they will be the most important people in my life. They will be my sole reason for living everyday to the fullest extent, I believe.
