This red damask cloak trimmed in fur was first spotted on Amanda Hale as Lady Margaret Beaufort in the 2013 miniseries 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒉𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒆𝒏.   The costume was seen a second time in the 2020 made-for-television movie 𝑱𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌: 𝑨𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑨𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓, where Ashley McGuire wore it as the Mayoress. I know the wait for (fill in the blank) is frustrating, and tiresome, and sometimes feels hopeless and endless and like you’ve been forgotten. Like you’ll never quite find the place or the person that FITS. But you WILL. Someday. And no, I can’t answer when your “someday” is. I wish I could. But I do have faith that SOMEDAY is coming. For you, and for me.  I can’t tell you when what you’re waiting for will get here. But I do believe that it WILL get here.

And when it does…you will thank God that you didn’t settle for anything less.
