Hello! My name is Amanda and I am an avid reader as well as a teacher, daughter, dog owner, Harry Potter lover, movie buff, and just an all around nerd. I would like to welcome you to my brand new book blog! *applause*

This will be the home of reviews, quotes, hauls, and all of the other fun lists and things I can come up with. Basically, I don't have the time or the 'chops' to be a book tuber on YouTube, so I figured a book blogger would be the next best thing! Hopefully one day I could make my book tube channel happen but for now you will find a lovely placeholder channel.

Coming soon (read: today) I will have an update on what books I have read this year, what is on my May TBR list, and the information for the Read-a-Thon's that I will be participating in this month!

More and more, news output is based not on the events of the day but those of the moment. An hour old is old. When does the value of immediacy wear out? When we know what has happened in the last second? The last millisecond?

But now I feel like finding out about him is one of the ways I find out about myself. I did not expect to love his words. I did not expect to find myself in them. Is falling in love with someone's story the same as falling in love with the person himself?
