What motivates us? . Why do you do what you do? This is at the root of our actions and often we judge others mechanically, not leaving room to question people’s true motivation. . This mandala began as an original painting on canvas that was motivated by meditating on the concept of Freedom. . Then I gave a high res image of it to @lovemissq who then played with making various graphics out of it for our project and current collection by @amandasagecollection ✨ . Her motivation comes from a similar place as mine when I made the painting. One of exploration, curiosity, creativity... this is a space that is free and full of possibility. . Then we go another step and figure out ways of integrating the graphics into clothes. They become ripples of the original prayers and amulets of a vision. . What motivates you? . . . . In the summer of 2014 I had the great fortune to paint a big mural with my friend @shrineon at the @boomfestivalofficial in Portugal. It was a good time to spend with friends who came from all over the world and was super grateful for @naomigittoes from Australia who helped finish it🙌 along with so many others that helped in a myriad of ways🥳 . The theme that year was the Divine Feminine... and that was an anchor for the murals theme as well. .
