do u have any sources / know much about the character of the conflicts between India and Pakistan? (like if it is a war for redivision of territory, etc)
so three out of the four full fledged wars india and pakistan have had were over kashmir (the one in 1971 resulting from india intervening in pakistan's genocide of bangladesh) - other conflicts like the siachen and the kutch conflicts were related to demarcation of territory + a huge point of contention is them accusing each other for funding separatist movements in their respective countries (pakistan accusing india of backing insurgents in balochistan and india accusing pak of funding "terrorism" in kashmir). the first indo-pak war resulted in the establishment of the line of control and pak getting control over one-third of the region (which started when the maharaja of kashmir acceeded to india for assistance against pakistani tribesmen who had attacked), and the second and third ones were more about india defending/regaining the territory it controlled. this site has a list of primary sources on the 1971 war. I don't have any sources on the wars over kashmir themselves, what I do have are more about the indian occupation of kashmir
