Sleep over!
Sleep over: You two are spending Halloween together, but you start hearing weird noises.
Maybe she should have gone out with the rest of the girls. Maybe she should have worked out in the gym before going home, just so she’d be knocked out in bed. Maybe she should not have had chocolates and coffee, because now she’s a lot more jittery than she normally is and she has absolutely no idea if she’s actually hearing things, or if she just thinks she’s hearing them when there’s actually nothing. That would have been the case, and she would have reassured herself that there’s nothing to worry about, everything is okay, until her groupmate came out of her bedroom, hair messy and eyes half-lidded, and asked if she had heard something.
Great, just great. Now she’s about ninety-nine percent sure that there was in fact something, and caffeine and sugar was not to blame. The fact that it was the time of the year where all things spooky and scary were practically everywhere did not be of any help either.
Soon enough the two were squeezed together in the spacious couch, silence sheathing them as they waited for something they didn’t even know, to show up (or not). Seconds eventually turned to minutes and just when Sooyoung was starting to relax, she hears the same noise she’d heard earlier–but from inside Taeyeon’s room. The thing is, their leader was not there. She was out with their other groupmates, leaving Sooyoung alone with Sunny. She froze, eyes wide as she waited for yet another sound (although deep inside her, she hoped for none).
She stole a glance at the older, who seemed to be frozen as well, then nudged her gently with her elbow. “..hey. Go check it out.” A stronger nudge was made this time, with enough force to push Sunny towards their groupmate’s room. “You’re braver than me, so go. I’ll be right here.” Normally, she would not admit such things but sometimes, she figured, when you needed someone to go and do something, you’ll have to throw in a few words of encouragement along with a little push–which was, in their case, quite literal.
Not even waiting for the other’s response, she snatched the cushion closest to her and held it in front of her face, peeking from the side as though she was trying to shield herself from anything that would jump out of there.
"Do we have any more blankets?"
“Over there but...” Laughing as they two sat atop the bed with a layer of blankets already, Suzy was eager to get the blanket at the foot of the bed closer to them. Not wanting to let her arms feel how cold it was getting, her expression was a ridiculous concentrated look while aiming and praying she could get the blanket over in his pathetic attempt. “..Unnie I really don’t want to go and grab it if I have to be cold again even for just a second. Help me try and pull it in...” Suzy’s leg’s were already longer than the others so she was the best bet anyway, or she could stop being lazy and just reach for it like a normal person.
“I worry, you know?”
little prompts!
Yumi shook her head a couple of times and smiled to herself, “You don’t have to worry about me”. She tried to reassure her friend – Yumi knew she would be fine going out alone tonight, she had no fear. “I’ll be gone for about an hour… maybe?” She casually brought her shoulders up for a light shrug before smiling at the other once more, her body leaning in to allow her arms to wrap around her tightly as she embraced her close. “I just need some damn chocolate in my life, ya know?” The petite woman chuckled some, her arms retreating back to her sides as she stood straight up once more.
@amaterasunny answered:
Stepping back from the door while reaching out to pull the slightly dripping wet woman inside. “Your mom never told you to always carry an umbrella?” She nags playfully, shutting the door once she’s inside. “Hot chocolate or white hot chocolate?” She asks as she slips off to the kitchen, two mugs already in hand before their placed on the counter. “There’s clean towels in the closet down the hall and you can borrow some of my clothes. You know where everything is.” She called from the kitchen while filling a kettle with water.
She quickly enters the other’s place, her jacket coming off before she’s even completely inside. “I didn’t expect it to rain so soon... I thought I’d be able to get home in time.. I was wrong.” She shivers, arms sliding around herself as she rubs at her upper arms. “White hot chocolate preferably~..” She mumbles her reply as she already scurries around the place, easily finding the closet Sunny’s referring to where she snatches a towel to dry her hair, as well as a pair of sweatpants and a jumper to change into. Once she’s done changing, she shuffles into the living room, waving a little when passing by the kitchen so she can sit down near the heater, her arms wrapping around her legs. “Thank you for not sending me away~”
"Did you hear that?"

Yumi quickly looked around the room, hearing the noise the other spoke of. She didn’t quite know exactly what it was, and their room they shared for the night was pitch black. “Maybe someone broke in and is messing around downstairs?” Yumi shrugged her shoulders up as she slowly crawled out of her bed and into the others to hide in the blankets with her; Somewhat truly scared. She jumped, hearing the noise again and leaned against the other before finally realizing what was going on – The neighbors below were moving in during the night and they must have been bumping things around. “Oh my god.. it’s the neighbors” She laughed softly and shook her head a couple of times.
"I think I broke it."
Put one of these in my askbox to see how my Muse reacts!
Her eyes narrowed on the other female, lips parted as she mouthed the words: What the fuck carefully. Not too loud though considering they were out in public and there could be a child a couple feet away that could hear them cursing and be possibly scarred for life. At the simple thought, Yumi chuckled some but quickly gave her attention back to the female who was holding a broke statue of a gargoyle since they were doing some Halloween shopping together. “You did, didn’t you?” She frowned some as she picked up the head that lay off to the side, detached from the rest of it. “lets just…” she placed the head back on the shelf and shoved it towards the back before grabbing Sunnys hand and walking quickly. “leave it for someone else to get” – She chuckled softly and pulled her along to another store to look in. “Please don’t break anything in here” She teased, playfully sticking her tongue out at her.
