The team of amazing Nurses and Health Care Assistants who took such brilliant care of me yesterday, over what was an incredibly long day for emergency surgery. Not to also forget all the wonderful theatre staff too, who also helped me with my anxiety about having a general anaesthetic and surgery for the first time. A massive thank you to everyone at Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Hopefully the physical side of all this sadness will now finally be at an end…
