Aerith's heart almost misses a beat. She was very concentrated on her flowers, and yet, she hears something coming from the church's roof. The last time it happened, Zack fell right on her flower bed. But no, it doesn't sound like someoneis about to fall now. This time... it seems like someone jumped there. But it sounds crazy. Maybe it just shows how lonely Aerith really is.

And yet... she can't help herself. She stands and looks at the roof, fixing it with her emerald gaze. "Is someone there ? I'm pretty sure this church is not the best hiding spot!" Well, it is a very lonely church, though. Aerith and the Turks are pretty much the only people coming around.

Mid raises a curious eyebrow as she looks at these... web shooters ? Well, she has obviously never seen anything like this in her entire life, but she truly wishes she could find a way to to upgrade them. Well, maybe because it would give this Spider-Man a hand... but also because it would develop her skills even more, to work with something she never saw.

"You're kinda an engineer, too, isn't it ?" she asks, letting a chuckle escape her lips before she claps her hands together. "Well, if you're not scared of letting me play with your web shooters, I'm pretty sure I could do something!"

At the second she sees Peter, Aerith stands so she can move away from the flowers and quickly joins him, wrapping her arms around his neck and holding him close. Of course, he told her he would be back, but she knows bad things can happen on the way. It happened before; she’s used to LOSE people she loves. But Peter is there. He’s safe. Midgar is a mess, though. Aerith feels like these Whispers of Fate need to be dealed with, but she’s not even sure of why. And there was this guy with the Buster sword -- with Zack’s sword... 

“I’ve missed you, too.” She replies, smiling against his shoulder. She then lets go of him, just taking one of his hands within hers. “How are you doing ?”

     Well now...this was quite a PROBLEM, wasn’t it? It seemed that her small RAMPAGE had brought about the protector from his WEBS, and all she could do was stand there on the rooftop...SURROUNDED by many different, recently slain mob members. (Her Katana dripping blood in a small pool as it was SPLASHED all over her coat, her face, even her bare thighs and boots as she turned her attention to the side, peering BACK at him through the dim light of the moon’s rays.)  ❝ ...Spider-Man, hello... ❞ Her tone, unlike the last time the two had seen one another, was APATHETIC and MERCILESS as she stepped closer to a SINGLE surviving woman, clearly TREMBLING in terror at what had happened. 

          The story behind it all? Simple.

               Akame had been hired to KILL A TARGET...

                    ...and that TARGET escaped due to these TROUBLESOME guards.

     Now, she was simply cleaning up LOOSE ENDS before she would chase after her PREY for the killing blow. (She never FAILED an assignment, after all.)  ❝ ...this will only take a moment, then you have my attention. ❞

{☆} For a moment, she’s too STUNNED to speak. Clea froze in place, her cheeks tinting a warm shade of PINK that spread down her throat. “Peter...” She trailed off, flickering her gaze from his face. 

Catching her breath, she takes a step back and puts her hands to her temples. 

“Look, you’re really SWEET but...” She trailed off. It was inherently awkward--and what if she had misinterpreted the ACTION? Maybe it was friendly? Nonetheless she was flattered.

Clea gives a soft, wan smile and shrugs her shoulders, her nose crinkling. “I tend to prefer...GRUMPY wizards...who barely know I exist.”
