I’ll never forget first flying into the amazon rainforest. 

After missing our first flight and spending all night in the airport, we were exhausted both emotionally and physically. As we began our descent, she appeared out of the fog. the river snaked for miles through her thick jungle vegetation. I cried. No view has ever felt so mighty and powerful, the sheer energy of mother nature seemed to hide expectantly under the clouds.
