Okay, a bit of context: Noire (Betty) needed an alibi to pass as a normal person, so she decided to replace a family’s daughter. She killed her and deceived the parents into believing that she was their child.
(Her younger sister).
After the events of GT, Noire was forced to confess to her “parents” that she wasn’t their real daughter, but they preferred to believe it was a lie rather than accept that their daughter was dead. Ruby never found out that her sister was basically a doppelgänger.
