"Yo." Amber greeted with a small wave of her hand. "Welcome to Insolitus 'n all that shit. Hopefully you liking the school?" Amber asked with an easygoing grin as she readjusted the shoulder strap to her backpack on her shoulder for a more comfortable position.

“All… that..shit. Yeah.”  Jinri replied with her usual sort of tenseness around new people. It’d get easier. The instant casualness of the whole thing certainly helped in it’s own way. “Uhm… It’s…” She stared off as she desperately searched for the right word. Another thing that would hopefully get easier. “I like it. But it’s intimidating sometimes…”

Yawing and stretching her arms above her head was how the healer walked out of her last class of the day. That shit was just hella boring no thanks to the teacher. Her thoughts were far off on what would be consumed for dinner when she noticed an unfamiliar face. "Yo bro, you good?"

A near bounce in his steps the genie was enjoying his time at the academy the past day he had spent there being enough to fill him with hope for the future - or his at least. Turning at the voice he soon bowed a smile crossing his lips at the thought of making a new friend something he deemed everyone to be. "I suppose I’m lost actually! I was trying to find the library?".

"Yo bro, what's good home-skillet?" Flips her short fringe out of her face and offers an easygoing attitude and small side-smile. "I heard you be the new peep, so welcome to Insolitus. Sorry for the short intro-shit, but I'm outta here, it's time to get booze." With that, the healer waved goodbye and turned to make her way back down the hall where she'd come from.

It was a human. A woman, at that. She approached him in a manner so casual and friendly that it made him want to vomit. How dare she call him bro? She was gone before he even had a chance to properly express his disgust and so as she walked away, he glared and spat out a few words. ‘Filthy human could have at least told me where to get drinks.’
