Beaux Art â Nevaeh & Rick
It had been quite some time since Rick had decided to grace an art museum with his presence. More often than not, he found such places to be amusing in the most displeasing sense of the word. They simply served to remind him exactly how old he was. As the dark angel paid the palry entrance fee and began roaming the halls, he found himself lost in thought of the days when PIcasso, van Gough, and even da Vinci were still alive. It seemed that in the more recent centuries, art had become less and less beautiful. The humans had some redeeming aspects, considering their progress with body modification was astoundinng, and it didn't appear that all of the new, up-and-coming artists were failures.
Criticizing hazel eyes stared down nearly every piece of work passed as if he were there to judge the collection and not to simply observe. It would appear that a few of the pieces were forgeries- however well done they may have been- but for the most part, the art museum had a fairly impressive collection. The dark angel paused before one of Dali's works; The Sacrament Of The Last Supper, smiling to himself at the piece. He couldn't quite explain why, but it had been one of his favorite paintings since he'd first seen it nearly fifty years prior. He completely igored the stares he was recieving, whether it was his tattoos or his 'punk' outfit, he didn't know nor care.Â
A few moments later, he moved on only to pause when he noticed a somewhat familiar face. Brows wrinkled in thought as he attempted to recall the woman's name. It was something... interesting. He remembered finding it both unpleasant and laughable at the same time. Ah, that was it. He waved to her in hopes of drawing her attention as he approached. Â Â Â Â Â "Excuse me," he started as he offered a friendly smile. "Might your name be Nevaeh? I believe we met once before at the Academy," Honestly, it wouldn't have bothered Rick in the slightest if he'd ended up getting her name wrong or confusing her for someone else. If she was human- all the better- he could simply toy with her before continuing on his way.Â
