djdjjd i let this sit in my inbox last time i got it and never got around to answering it so i just deleted it but i’m trying this new thing where i’m nice to myself so here goes
i’m tinie - sometimes i hate this nd i wanna be tall but have you ever been the little spoon? god it’s so nice
i’m smart - i’m smart! i really am! a lot of the time i say i’m dumb because sometimes i feel that way because society’s way of testing intelligence these days isn’t super compatible with my brain but that’s not my fault! i’m smart and i should stop telling myself i’m not!
i’m a good writer - i don’t write consistently and maybe i should, but judging from my follower count on @/lovehrj and the asks/notes i get, i’m a good writer!
i’m talented - relatively,,more of a jack of all trades than master of any but i (kind of) used to play volleyball, i dance, i play the cello, i write. none of it exceptionally well but i’m not bad at any of them!
i’m naturally good at learning/picking things up visually - for my recital last year, one of the girls in the senior group broke her foot like,,3 days before the actual recital and their group changed the formations for every one of their songs except one—a partner song. instead of changing the formations, they came to me and said “hey, how much of this song do you know?” and i told them “absolutely none of it” and so i became an honorary member of their group and learned the whole (partner!) dance in 2 days. mostly from a video. tell me that’s not cool!!! also i pick up languages relatively easily 🤷🏻♀️
this was actually kind of fun to answer! i gotta say i got stuck at #3 for a while but i finished it! thank you for sending me this ask (even if it took me like a week to answer) i love myself just a little more now!
