@ambitiondriven liked THIS for a starter
Entrapta moves about the lab in the Fright Zone using her hair, legs tucked up to her torso as she writes something on a pad of paper. Scribbling it out after a moment of thought, zoning out as she continues to move about on autopilot and eventually missing her mark and falling to the floor. A loud yelp can be heard, but the mechanic pops up again with a smile on her face, grabbing the pad of paper and pen off the floor. She gets right back to writing but is COMPLETELY surprised when she turns around in her pacing to see CATRA standing in the doorway. HOW long she’s been there? Entrapta doesn’t know ( doesn’t much care, either ). The princess gives a wave of her hair and smiles some.
“Oh, CATRA, I didn’t NOTICE you! Here, here, come look at what I’m WORKING on. It isn’t much right now but PROMISE, it’s gonna be great!”
‘don’t touch me.’
SOFT ANGST STARTERS.|| ACCEPTING
A sigh escaped the blonde’s lips between her tired huffs, eyes rolling slightly at the other’s unshakable stubbornness.
“ Can you put away your pride for two seconds? ”
That was asking far too much, but still she tried. Begged, really. She reached her hand out once again to Catra amongst the ruble and repercussions of their fight. Even among their oppositions, Adora couldn’t leave her like this. It was still her.
“ Just let me help you, Catra, please. ”
“You know, I can’t help but notice you seem a little at war with yourself here.”
TANGLED STARTERS || ACCEPTING
Unfortunately, as much as the blonde hated it–she wasn’t completely wrong. But her thoughts–her anguish, her hurt, her anger, her disappointment–they were written all over her face. She was far too easy to read, and Catra knew it. Damn her.
Never did Adora imagine it would come to this–separated from her lifelong companion with iron bars at her command, eyes burning, knuckles white.Not in their youth, not a month ago, not even a week. But the deep slashes that defaced and scarred the tissue of her back were a reminder. The sharp sting of the angry marks engraved in her skin wouldn’t let her forget, and neither would the cold memory of being left for dead at he hand. And even still, despite Catra’s willingness to seemingly end her life with ease she still found herself unable to bring herself to hate her.
“ It didn’t have to be this way. ” She said, jaw tense, gaze hard. But in her eyes, the despair couldn’t hide. “ Hate me all you want, but I gave you an out. Multiple outs. I never wanted this. ”
