Now that spoopy season is in full swing, it feels like the right time to post this. I've been holding on to this coord pic for nearly two years as I forgot to post it last October! The sinple cut of this JetJ piece suits casual wearing without a blouse very well, so I wanted to try it in a dark and witchy outfit before returning it to dear paper_maiden. The print, featuring illustrations by Shigeru Mizuki, also have a perfectly entrancing spookiness.

This dress is gorgeous in its simplicity; the cut is very plain but elegant, and there are Shigeru Mizuki yokai illustrations all over it, super eye catching!

Well, I’m a bit late now but here’s some pictures of my coord from my local comm’s Halloween meetup.

I borrowed my friend’s Juliette et Justine JSK (which is absolutely gorgeous) and paired it with mostly black for a simple gothic outfit. The theme of the meet was “Tim Burton”, but I didn’t really dress up as any character in particular--my friend just thought that her dress would match the aesthetic and encouraged me to wear her dress >_<! The print is a collab with Shigeru Mizuki, who is famous for his illustrations of yokai. I agree that the numerous monsters in the print fit Tim Burton’s creepy vibe (perhaps like Halloweentown?)

Also a little group photo with some friends :) I lent Hime (on the left) my Holy Lantern JSK, I think she wore it in her own style which I found really great! It’s totally different than a lot of HL coords I’ve seen, and honestly I myself would probably not have ever worn my JSK like that.
