CRAE turns 5!

CRAE News

It is with great pleasure that we launch the Centre for Research in Autism and Education’s five-year Report (2009 - 2013). It reviews the Centre’s activities and achievements since we were founded, describing how CRAE has grown and the many ways we have made a contribution to the lives of autistic people and their families.

None of this work would be possible without the fantastic support of the Institute of Education, our partner, Ambitious about Autism, our founding funders, The Clothworkers’ Foundation, Pears Foundation, Kirby Laing Foundation and the alumni and friends of the Institute, and especially to all the children, young people, families, practitioners, headteachers and school staff, who give their support and time to our research. We are ever so grateful.

This commitment and the funding itself mean that we now have a sustainable centre that can continue to conduct groundbreaking scientific research on autism, to translate that research into practice, and to promote awareness and acceptance of autism.

We are very proud of what we have achieved over the past five years and very much look forward to the years ahead!
