The way a lot of people in the Berserk fandom talk about the Idea of Evil is really weird to me. People say things like "we don't even know what the Idea of Evil's master plan is yet!" as if it's some kind of final boss/supervillain who can be punched in the face. It's GOD. Not A god, THE God. And not in the Greek mythology sense either where it's functionally just a really strong dude. It's a god of the Abrahamic variety, an omnipotent, omniscient formless presence that permeates all of existence and dictates the course of fate by its whim. It doesn't have a master plan. It's master plan is to keep existing and keep being god. A lot of it seems to just be people trying to look for some sort of meaning in what it does when the whole point is there isn't any. The God of this universe is an uncaring asshole who really does just let all the pointless suffering in the world happen because it can. Don't look to it for any kind of answers or catharsis, the only lesson it has to impart is that nothing means anything so do as thou wilt. It's not the kind of evil that can be fought by hitting it with an oversized sword. You fight it by telling it to go fuck itself and filling your own life with as much happiness and meaning as you can find on this bitch of an earth.

Would you ever go back and update your DracoxAstoria fic?

yes, if you can believe it! i have the next two chapters done (and have had them done for years), but i just can't seem to edit them and get them posted. honestly my writing has improved so much since that fic and i want to edit the whole story, but it's over sixty chapters and over 300k words 💀💀 i also want to replace ophelia's character with the character she was originally meant to be because she's so poorly done in comparison to the other female characters, so that's also nagging at me. but i will get the final chapters out before fixing the entire thing!

Yep, here it is. Uhm.. the future for last legacy isnt looking great. The arcana and fictif been such a big part of my life these past few years. I cant begin to think about how much of a loss this is for me right now. Ive loved this community a lot, thx for all the memes and late night convos.. this feels like s goodbye from me but im gonna stick around to see where this shitshow leads me. Im definitely missing the good days though.. i dont think it will ever be the same
