Ambubachi Mela: Cuando la Divina Menstrúa

En las verdes colinas de Assam, donde el poderoso Brahmaputra fluye como plata líquida por valles milenarios, se alza el Templo Kamakhya, un santuario donde el principio femenino divino se manifiesta en su forma más primigenia. Aquí, durante el mes monzónico de Ashad, el santuario de Kamakhya permanece sellado, su yoni pulsando con el ritmo primordial de Rajas, el flujo menstrual sagrado que no es impureza, sino el potencial inmanifestado de toda la creación.

El Kalika Purana declara: «Como sangra el útero, sangra la tierra. Lo que los hombres llaman tabú, el Tantrika lo conoce como la fuente de la vida». Aquí, en este espacio liminal entre la austeridad y el éxtasis, la Divina Madre se retira no para debilitarse, sino para recoger. Su sangre no es pérdida, es el zumbido silencioso de Shakti reciclándose.

En el cuarto amanecer, cuando las puertas del templo se abren de nuevo, el aire crepita con una carga palpable. El Ambu, la tela santificada teñida con su esencia, se distribuye no como una reliquia, sino como una transmisión viviente. Recibirlo es recordar que tú también naciste de esta sangre sagrada.

El Aghori bebe de su copa de calavera sabiendo que la verdad es que el nacimiento y la muerte son la misma marea. El brahmán canta mientras la mujer ofrece hibisco rojo; ambos comprenden, en lo más profundo de su ser, que la divinidad no está por encima de la naturaleza, sino dentro de ella. La lección de Kamakhya es conmovedora en su simplicidad:
