I was kindly gifted the Ameda Finesse double electric breast pump in exchange for an honest review*.

As Elsie lost quite a bit of her birth weight we were advised by our midwives to introduce bottle top ups alongside breastfeeding; as well as using a breast pump to help establish and maintain my milk production.

I’ll share more in an upcoming blog post on our breastfeeding journey.

And we're back!!! This week I struggled with my flow and feared my milk may have begun diminishing, but I'm no quitter! If breastmilk is best for my baby, then breastmilk he shall have (as long as I can help it!)!!! I began retaking fenugreek supplements (tincture form), but recently read that it causes gas in mommy and baby, so I am considering phasing it out... but one food that never seems to fail me when it comes to producing more milk, are good 'ole Quaker Oats! I was able to pump over 10ozs tonight thanks to this morning's oatmeal breakfast, and my placenta drops (I had mine encapsulated and made into a tincture!), taken with a cup of almond milk.
