towel (for my Urd muse, half-goddess-urd)

Fiddling with her towel to properly secure it around her torso, Urd smiled when she noticed her sister approach her. “The water was just fine, Bell! And this time I even prepared it for you, if you want to take a dip as well.”

Taking notice of the towels and the fact that her own towel seemed somewhat damp, Urd offered her sister a nod and reached to grab one for herself. “Oh, and don’t mind if I take another one,” said Urd, offering the silver haired goddess an apologetic smile. “I thought that you wanted to take a bath too, so I might’ve rushed drying myself a bit.”

Since there was no one else with them at the moment, Urd quickly unwrapped the towel and without worrying too much about her state of undress, she took her time to properly dry herself. Starting from her long platinum white hair, she moved to her upper torso, and then remembered that Belldandy was still standing there.

“Say... have you ever done this for Keiichi? I mean, offer him a fresh towel after he took a bath.”

“Little Black Dress” (It would be nice if I could...

Noticing the feint light coming from behind her, the half goddess leisurely looked over her shoulder over to where her sister sat by the low table in their living room. Of course Urd was watching her favorite soap opera, with Belldandy reading a magazine, and as such she was far too absorbed in the fictional events taking place on the TV to realize that she was staring at her sister in something straight out of her own wardrobe.

“Oh, that’s pretty nice, Bell. Tell Peorth that she finally came up with something good.”

Turning back to the TV, Urd resumed watching her show, until... her mind finally caught up with what her eyes registered a few seconds ago.

“WHOA! Wait a second... BELLDANDY?!”

Trying her best to close her mouth, before she caught a fly, Urd stared in disbelief as her younger sister had picked something she would’ve wore; and quite proudly too. Now... on Belldandy, that dress looked even more impressive, mostly because Urd was unused to see her display her natural beauty, and in such a bold statement too.

“Actually, now that I look at you, I suppose that we’re sisters alright,” said Urd after she regained her composure. “Just go easy on Keiichi, Bell.”

Leave it to the older goddess to recognize artifacts and objects that are related to cooking!

While Skuld accompanied her sister to the new, intimate shop that opened in downtown Nekomi (because of course she would say yes to 'would you like to go with me?' when it came to Belldandy!), she was out of her field here. She knew a little about baking, cooking, the art of making food as it were -- unlike a certain princess from another planet, she knew to use sugar instead of salt to sweeten food items, for one. She knew you needed eggs and flour for a cake, and you needed to boil water for rice. But beyond that? There's a reason she's so further spoiled by her sister's skills. If it were her, Skuld would end up burning the kitchen first, and only because she'd use machines for basic steps!

Cooking oil + gas + motor oil + no skills = yikes!

So checking out the shop, with its antique pans, grandfather clocks and a pastry section that beckoned a Victorian age air, was a lesson in and out of itself.

"Is that what those little containers are, Big Sis?", she asked, coming up from behind Belldandy. "They kinda look more like things I'd put extra nails or screws in...Alum, turmeric, peri-peri, a-a--ado-boh?"

And Urd says my naming sensibilities are stupid.
