can u do kuroo x neurodivergent reader w stims (happy stims!!) fluff!! Thanks and have a good day<3
Please don’t cancel me for this but I am going to put a note beforehand. I am not part of the Neurodiversity movement nor do I regularly engage in stimming; however, I did do some research on Neurodiversity as well as stimming and how it makes those affected feel better, e.g. calm them down. As a personal rule, I won’t turn down a request if it involves something specific or to do with a mental disorder, regardless of whether I have it or not. I can research and go through sources to get a better understanding of the topic at hand. Even after all that, I can only hope that I can give life to your request and have it live up to your expectations, but all of my information is through researching available websites through Google. If it seems offensive, infantilizing, mocking, or even just sets you off a bit, please let me know and I will either redo it (if you choose to send in something to help me) or I will completely delete the post. You didn’t specify the stimming action, so I apologize if this isn’t what you had expected.
Mmm due to the fact my family is currently putting out the Christmas decorations, let’s make this a big Christmas/winter holidays themed! 🎄☃️
Stimming s/o with Kuroo
With the bitter nipping on your nose and the puffs of breath coming from your mouth, it was clear Winter had finally arrived. It was cold enough to warrant a large coat, but it wasn’t cold enough to settle deep in your bones to have uncontrollable shivers. It was cold enough to have your boyfriend rubbing his hands together, cursing under his breath as puffs left his lips. You looked at him, curiosity sending your head cocking to the side as you looked at him.
“What’s wrong?”
“Should’ve brought gloves. Who’d have thought it’d be so cold, huh?” He chuckles. You smile and raise an eyebrow.
“I thought it’d be. That’s why I brought gloves,” you wiggle your fingers as you point at him, showing off the fabric covering the skin. Even inside the small shop, it’s cold as people constantly enter and leave, buying gifts for loved ones or browsing the wares. A small shop that happens to be well-known for having nicknacks that tickled anyone’s fancy was where you were.
“Hm, maybe I should buy gloves,” he murmurs, rubbing his chin in thought as you giggle. “Maybe I should find some really weird gloves that say something like ‘Hot Mama’,” he continues. Your hands started to move as you keep giggling, only to stop and put your hands in your pockets. “Maybe I should look for some that say some cool chemistry stuff, or like ‘Mad Scientist’. Would that be too long?”
“You’re very serious about this, aren’t you?” You giggle some more, hand coming to cover your mouth. It’s a cute scene in the store, him joking about gloves he can get while you giggle with your hands flapping every now and then. When you put them back in your pockets, Kuroo steps closer.
“Stop doing that, you don’t need to be so self-conscious with me. I love when you show me you’re happy. It lets me know I’m actually funny,” he chuckles, you giggling in response. “How about you pick out some gloves for me? I’ll meet you outside,”
“It’s cold!”
“I’ll be fine. I’m a strong man who can handle some coldness,” he huffs, putting his hands on his hips. “I’ll be waiting, kitten,”
It’s a bit of time before you’re exiting the store, skipping to where Kuroo is, hands behind his back. “What’s got you so excited?”
“I got you a present, that’s why!” You giggle, bouncing on the balls of your feet. “C’mon, open it!”
“It’s not Christmas, you know? Just a little gift,” it isn’t meant to hurt your feelings, him chuckling a bit as he takes the top off the box. He expects the gloves, of course, but he doesn’t expect the little card at the bottom. “Oh?” Opening the card, it’s a pre-written note about how much he’s loved by you. Smiling, he presses a kiss to your temple. “That’s sweet. Wanna know what I got you?”
A gasp escapes you as he pulls out a box, your hands moving excitedly as he hands it to you. He opens it for you as you peer in the box, seeing a glass orb. It’s a snow globe! You let out a little squeal of cheer as he takes it out of the box, showing it to you.
“It’s not very specific or special like yours but it’s something that reminded me of you. Since, you know, we met a year ago in the snow. Here’s a snow globe with snow,” he rubs the back of his neck, eyes downcast as a single fleck of snow lands on his nose.
You pull him down to place a sweet kiss over top the cold snowflake, showing you appreciate the gift.
