I love that you think people tell me anything about romance novels. They tell me nothing. I’m out here in my library stacks and the kindle store on my own, armed with nothing but a few favorite authors, a desperate thirst for people who are scandalized by the cut direct, and a big ole heart full of love. I’d say KJ Charles (most if not all of her stuff is Victorian/Edwardian) but idk if her stuff would lend itself to the kind of porn you want to write.

I really need to pick up Charles’ stuff one of these days -- it’s definitely true that I suck at writing stuff where canon relationships are semi-functional and/or where there’s a HEA/HFN genre convention. (Not that that’s bad at all, and in textually queer romances it’s an especially big deal, I’m just a really dismal person.)

I just got back from the Locke Street counter-protest. There were two groups there opposing the Sons of Odin - the Hamilton District Labour Council, and Hamilton Against Fascism. The SoO heard ahead of time that counter-protests were planned, so instead of marching from Victoria Park, they just went straight to Locke. The police blocked off all entrances to Locke Street, so the counter-protestors couldn't walk down it - they said it was to avoid any violent confrontations.

Jesus h. Christ i can’t belive I've forgotten that!  Do you happen to have a link or two to any posts where that was discussed, because im sure for a fact the fandom talked  about that
