How did you feel about Rose's turn as Cora on OUAT?

honestly, my feelings toward cora are really complicated because as a character i loathe her on principle, she was a truly horrendous mother. but imo barbara hershey handled the role really well, and i think as a villain she’s one of the more…compelling and interesting ones the show has had. like, i hate her but i also like…watching her? she’s effective, i guess. i don’t know. anyway i’m in love with rose mcgowan and would follow her to the moon and she was…good…as cora, and the scene where she’s learning to spin straw into gold and rumple needs her to channel her hatred and cora starts talking about how she wants peoples’  necks to break from bending was the closest thing i’ve ever had to a religious experience
