The Tally Continues
This is about a month since my last Tally post.
Approximately another 30K people have perished because of this disease.
It is mind boggling to me that people don’t think it is real or that they aren’t taking it seriously.
We’ve been losely sheltering in place for 8 months. Anne Frank hid for 25 months in a small apartment with 8 other people. The group lived in constant fear of being discovered and could never go outside. They had to remain quiet during daytime in order to avoid detection by the people working in the warehouse below. I’d like to think we are made of the same strong stuff. At least we can watch Netflix, make noise, call our friends, go outside with a mask on. I mean - it is luxury in comparison and the end of the line isn’t a concentration camp but a vaccine.
