I keep thinking about this creed. I remember being in the 5th grade and I just couldn't keep my mouth closed. My teacher used to make me sit and write this over and over during recess. I sat writing this so many times I have it memorized. When I think of all the injustice going on it todays world I always find myself thinking about this and what it means. I feel like as Americans we have fallen short of this promise. But changes are coming. And maybe one day I won't feel like this anymore.
